You're a starter now.... congrats. Julian is better than you, Ben Howland is just stupid.

Kidd, Terry shipped to Detroit; Hamilton and others come along

The Dallas Mavericks and the Detroit Pistons have agreed to a deal that sends Jason Kidd and Jason Terry to the Pistons for Richard Hamilton, Chris Wilcox and a 2012 first round pick.

The Mavs saw so much in Rodrique Beaubois, that they decided to place him as the starter. 15 points and 7 assists off the bench against the Jazz sealed the deal.

"We love Jet and Kidd, but it's time for a change," said GM Donnie Nelson. "Rip can help us with the scoring load, and Chris can be a valuable backup."

"We think that getting Jason Kidd and Jason Terry will help us turn around our franchise," said Joe Dumars. "We hope to make a run at the playoffs, and scare a few teams."

After the Pistons backed out of the Melo deal, they went through with this one, a better trade by far.

"We're happy with what we got, and what we gave up." said John Kuester. "We're ready for the playoffs."

Pistons make their bench really solid, nice job for them.As for Mavs, this is going to be tricky. Not a safe bet for a deal. They could do better, though hamilton isn't that bad,but Kidd and Terry are big losses, especially Kidd.

You are a Mavericks fan man, I wouldn't have done that deal... Kidd is the heart of the team, along with Dirk!

CPU did it, I have it on. Decided not to override it, to make things interesting. Beaubois has been a beast, will post stats soon.

Agreed, a great trade for the Pistons bench. For the Mavs, it's more about getting younger. Don't forget that 2012 first rounder.
Valdis wrote:Finally Beaubois get a starting spot. (Y)

Beaubois has dominated so far.
Kubik wrote:Bad trade for Mavs. Without Kidd scoring fot them will be much harder

Agreed, but I'm pretty sure that the 2012 first rounder will help in some way.

2011 NBA MOCK DRAFT: TOP 5 (10-24-10)

It's never too early to do a mock draft.. is it?

***NOTE**** This is based off of current records, the lottery will probably screw a team over.

Image1. Timothy Goodson|PG|England- Goodson can turn around these Blazers in a hurry. They suck this year, and are off to a 3-9 start! Andre Miller is old, Brandon Roy has no meniscus, and LaMarcus Aldridge is terrible this year. C'mon Goodson! Come to the NBA fast.

Image2. Harrison Barnes|SF/PF|North Carolina- The Nets need a small forward. Travis Outlaw won't cut it. 4-8 won't cut it either. Barnes can be the spark they need. He's strong and can help with the physicality problem. Brooklyn needs him.

Image3. Jared Sullinger|PF/C|Ohio State- The 76ers need a good center. Not Maurice Speights or Spencer Hawes. A good center. Jared Sullinger can be that 12 point- 7 rebound per game guy, which is what the Sixers need.

Image4. Perry Jones|SF/PF|Baylor- Odd how the Nets and Wizards have problems with the SF position. Jones can play the small forward, and has the range for it too. Call him a clone, doesn't matter. Jones can light it up.

Image 5. Cedric Simon|PF|Michigan State- Best player available. This team doesn't need anyone new, they should just trade down.

That's a wrap, on November 7th, expect an updated Top 5 Mock Draft!
