You're doing a great job getting teams' star PG's in foul trouble, too bad there's always a hidden star in every game. :( Hope you fry Salmons next game. :)

Charlotte Takes Game 3

With Derrick Rose and Jason Richardson each scoring at least 30 points, another hard-fought battle ends with a Charlotte victory. Charlotte's Wallace and Herrmann and Chicago's Garcia were the only other double digit scorers in the match. This game turned out to be more about defense. Gerald Wallace's eight blocks and six steals took the cake, but as a team, Chicago played great D. "[Charlotte] just had better offense," as Raymond Felton put it after his five-point, eight-assist performance in which he was only 2-9 from the field.

Tough defense from Tyrus Thomas, Derrick Rose, and Francisco Garcia nearly gave the Bulls the win. These three totaled an enormous 14 steals. Derrick Rose was uncontrollable all night long and after Raymond Felton and Acie Law failed to stop him, Gerald Wallace actually played point guard to try to keep Rose to a minimum. All they did was rack up blocks and fouls. The Bulls would have won with Rose, but Rose racked up some fouls as well and he sat most of the fourth quarter. This gave the Bobcats time to spark their offense. Walter Herrmann scored eleven points in this quarter, and a J-Rich dunk with 30 seconds left put the Bobcats up for the first time since the second quarter. The Bulls, unable to score, allowed a three from Acie Law and the Bulls gave up their game.

Game MVP: Gerald Wallace: 14 points (FG: 50%), 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 8 blocks, 6 steals, 4 fouls, 5 turnovers

The Bobcats Advance In a 3-1 Series Win Against The Bulls
Following a 35 point performance by Gerald Wallace (his highest of the season and playoffs), the Charlotte Bobcats eliminated the Chicago Bulls 95-90 in Game 4. Jason Richardson and Walter Herrmann both scored 20 points in this game. Raymond Felton made some big plays: in fact, he connected on two consecutive alley-oops to Jason Richardson during the fourth quarter. Walter Herrmann's huge last-minute push sealed the victory for the Bobcats. With 18 seconds left and the score tied, he attempted a three, was fouled, but he missed. After making the first two free throws, he missed the third, Gerald Wallace came down with his 12th rebound of the game, held on to the ball for awhile and dished it to Herrmann who attempted another three and made it as the buzzer sounded. The Bobcats won by five and will now play the winner of the (2)Cleveland-(7)Orlando series. It is most likely to be Cleveland.
I don't have box scores or pics for this one. I forgot to save them. :(

PLAYER OF THE GAME: Gerald Wallace: 35 points, 12 rebounds.

IT'S OVER

My saves got overwritten. Again. I had backups, but they were a couple months old. So much has changed since then, so it is my deepest regret to say that this franchise has come to an end.

I will briefly tell you what happened in the playoffs to the Bobcats.

The Bobcats lost to the Cavaliers in 6 games. LeBron James completely broke free of any defense whatsoever and averaged nearly 40 points a game, while Gerald Wallace averaged a mere 14. LeBron averaged a triple-double in the playoffs and would go on to the conference finals, and tear down the Boston Celtics there in just 4 games. Apparently, Kevin Garnett sprained his ankle in game 6 against Toronto. LeBron went on to win the Finals MVP after the Cavaliers blew out the Mavericks in games 6 and 7 to win the title.

I saved my game here, before the offseason, did some other stuff and found that I had overwritten this file with my new franchise by accident. I was hoping to have some nice offseason moves, but they never happened. :(

Sorry to anyone who really enjoyed this franchise, I'm now focusing all my "computer time" working on live 2003 rosters and my new franchise "North Carolina Domination". Also I'm sorry to anyone who won a contest in this franchise, if you want, I'll transfer them over to the new franchise, and you'll get a rookie in the 2011 draft.

Thanks to everyone who supported this pair of franchises and I'm sorry I didn't take better care of this.

No, you call him Badger. He shall forever be known as that.Image

Sucks to see this pair go. It was the only 2-part franchise on here, but at least now you can fully dedicate your time to the 'Stache and his Domination.

Oh, I was kind of surprised when this thread got bumped three weeks after I said this franchise was over.
