DETROIT (AP) - Hello , my name is Mr.Basketball and I will lead you trough the game recaps of this Detroit Pistons association. I will give you my opinion , some got stuff from the locker room , pictures , boxscores , you know , everything I am paid to do. So now we have a five game wrap up. Detroit managed to win 3 games and loose two. That is a slight improvement but I bet you guys are expecting a lot more from the Motown team, right ? So lets get straight to business and do a recap of every of the five played games !



Detroit won this game because their great play in the first and 4th quarter. Demar Derozan was great in that first quarter , scoring 13 of his 17 points. The young highflier said he wants to be a part of the 2011 Slam dunk contest. I am sure that after last years solid performance , he will be even better this year , if included to participate.
Back to the game , the Kings had 5 players that scored in double digits , so did Detroit. The difference is that only one King scored 20 points , that would be Carl Landry. Three Pistons scored 20 or more , and they are : Stuckey , Gordon and Prince. Prince had a nice double double with 21 points and 10 assists in the much needed win against Sacramento.
Detroit was very good from beyond the arc , hitting 9/19 from deep , compared to a shitty peformance from the Kings. They went 1/9 from three point territory.
The Kings played without their best player , last years Rookie of the year , Tyreke Evans. The guard was out with a twisted ankle , but will return to the Kings line up in the following games.

So , we play the Mavs , we cruise past the Mavs. Surprise , surprise. I must say they under-estimated us a little bit , didn't really play defense on Stuckey so the guy went berserk. 42 points , 8 rebounds , 7 assists and 3 steals . The stats show absolute domination from Rodney in this one. "They just didn't guard me tight , so I easily found my way towards the rim , a good game"-he said.
He had some scoring help from his fellow guard , Ben Gordon. The sharpshooter scored 22 points , but he didn't seem that convincing while I was watching the game. I remember the fight Stuckey and Gordon had , and Ben said this was his team. Can't tell that from this Ben.
Kidd had another stellar performance , and really set up his team mates well , they just didn't manage to put the ball in the basket. Jason Terry went 7/24 from the field , en route to 24 points. "Meh , they were just lucky I wasn't knocking them open jumpers , if I had , we would have easily won this game"-Terry said. Well my boy , you didn't hit the jumpers and your team lost, what a shame.
Detroit wins their second in a row

Detroit couldn't manage to win their third straight win. It's really a shame , they were really hustling against the C's tonight. Rondo knew better than to let Stuckey do his thing , as he locked him down well. Stuckey did however , manage to rack up 19 points with 7 assists and 5 boards. He also pick-pocketed the ball twice. Nice outing by the rising star.
Rondo had a strange game for his style of play. 24 points and 6 assists ? What is happening to you young fella , I though you was a pass-first type Point guard. He was also 9/12 from the field as he knocked up mid range jumpers. Rondo surprised me tonight.
Ben Gordon cashed in 26 points with a perfect night from beyond the arc , going 5 / 5. It's a shame that the other starters didn't deliver , as none of them scored in double digits. Kleizla had 15 off the bench.
The big 3 also had a solid game , combining for 54 points and 20 rebounds (14 by KG). Ray Ray knocked 3 three pointers.

So the crappy New Jersey Nets send us home with a loss , our second straight. When will our team become consistent and start winning agaisnt bottom feeders ? Jesus , do something.
Brook Lopez was dominant out there , as he went for 21 points and 17 rebounds. The guy also dished 3 dimes , had 2 steals and blocked 2 shots. Pretty versatile performance for a big guy. "He just couldn't be stopped , plain and simple"-coach Deon Ewing stated, and trust me , it was a valid one.
6 Nets players finished the game in double digits , as their bench really stepped up in the game. "Our bench gave us a big lift , the guys kept us in the game when the starters and myself were resting"-Lopez said.
Ben Gordon and Rodney Stuckey had solid games despite the defeat. Ben had 24 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. First game in a long time he did something else that scoring. Rodney had 17 points and another solid all-around game with 6 rebounds and 4 assists.

Everyone in the basketball world knows the Suns run a high tempo style of play. They usually out run and out score their opponents , but on this night , they didn't , and Detroit got the win.
Only three Phoenix starters were in double digits , as they were crushed by a margin of 29. "They literally shut us down. They shot me down too. I gotta congratulate the fellas on their great game tonight"-Steve Nash was a gentleman as always.
And now the great news. Gordon and Stuckey combined for a freakish 70 points , their season high ! Ben scored 36 , rebounded 4 times , dished 3 dimes , but the story was Rodney. The kid had 34 points, he managed to rebounds the ball 6 times. He fed his team mates 8 times , and the guy HAD 7 STEALS. "Rod was in the zone tonight , I couldn't manage to score 36 if he wasn't playing like this"-Ben said.
Derozan scored in double digits , which is always good. Usually when he scores 10 or more , the team wins.

DETROIT ( AP ) - Hello Detroit fans , I have some good news. The Pistons played against two very strong teams and one that is play-off material. They won two of that games and lost one. Later in this article we will see them. I just wanted to say that January ends with this 3 games , and that a Melo deal has been done !



Rodney Stuckey continues to rack up the stats , with another triple-double worthy performance, but again , he came up a bit short. "I always come up a couple assists or rebounds shy , I guess it's just not meant to be"-Rodney said. His back court buddy had a good scoring game as well. But the thing about Gordon , is that he is starting to do other things than just scoring , the guy has actually started rebounding ! 'Melo wasn't dazed with the trade rumors at all , as he had a solid outing with a double-double. "I know a deal is close , but I am a professional and at this point I still am the face of the franchise , so I need to stay focused."-Carmelo said. Al Harrington had a good game off the bench racking up 15 points.

The Heat opened the game with a roll and from that point on Detroit hasn't come closer than a 7 point margin. I mean they have three superstars , no wonder they won. Miami's big three combined for 87 points ! LeBron had 37 , Wade had 28 and Bosh finished with 22 points. Wade and Bosh had double-doubles. Stuckey and Gordon cooled off a bit but other starters stepped up. 5 Piston players finished the game in double digits. " I didn't have the kind of game I was hoping to have prior the game. I just missed too many shots and free throws , just a bad night overall."-Rodney was disappointed .

Demar Derozan finally had a 20+ point game after God knows how long. " The refs were just making the calls , I made 11 out of 12 free throw attempts and that was a big reason why we won. Obviously , Rodney is having some problems with his ankle , so he didn't have a good game , but Ben was great. He started rebounding the ball , something we all haven't seen before from him"-said a happy Derozan. Amar'e had a big game with 26 points and 13 rebounds . He also had a spectacular facial dunk over Tayshaun Prince. "Man I would have to call that dunk one of the best ones in my career"-Ama're came from the baseline and just crushed it over Prince with a one handed hammer.

Awesome performance by Big Three ... you don't have nothing to say in this game. But against Knicks and Nuggets you were THE KING

Haven't been on the forums in a while because my PC had taken a shit on itself and doesn't work anymore. Thankfully , I got a new one today. This thing is done , so is every single thing I had on that PC , and there were many things , I had that computer for 4 years
