NOW Bulls are showing more teamwork, not just one player dominates in everything. Nice to see some scoring leaders besides Rose :D .

Yeah, and although Rose still plays as the leader, the supporting cast is getting stronger and other players are helping more than in the start

Bulls Sign Free Agent Mark Blount

Image

The Chicago Bulls Had agreed terms with veteran Mark Blount(ovrl 69) on a 2-year mid-level exception contract.
The 7'0" tall Center will get 5.78 m in each of his year at the Bulls.
Mark Blount was on the Free Agent list from the start of the season, failing to find a team untill now

"I'm really happy to be here.Though i was looking for a higher salary i'm happy to be in an organisation that treats so good their players"Blount said

With that move,it's obvious that Theo Ratliff will be neglected from the squad and Bulls are placing him on the trading block.
Rumors say that Chicago are looking to move Law and Johnson as well,as they're trying to find a better solution at the PG and those two are not needed by the Bulls

====================================================================================

Damn ,it is too hard to trade Law and Ratliff!I've been trying for days to trade them, but with no luck

Postby KidJustin on Thu Aug 12, 2010 3:07 am

:| i think i would have kept Ratliff over Blout...

at this point in their career i think they are both serviceable 3rd string C's

if u can flip Ratliff for a 2nd string C then its all gravy

Hope u can get rid of Law/Johnson...wait for an PG or SF injury on a team and try to dump either or both f those guys there

or if there are really no takers for Law/Johnson trade 3-2 and then 2-1
as in..Ratliff+Johnson+Law for player X + player Y (which are rated higher than the three)
then trade player X + player Y for that PG u've been looking for

(i did that once....traded 3 scrubs for Iggy, then flipped Iggy+1 scrub for Dwight Howard...so the net result (for me) was just 4 scrubs for Dwight Howard as i never had a care for Iggy...just needed his contract/overall rating)

Blount is better than Ratliff both overally and on other categories as well . I will try what you suggested and hopefully it will benefit me

Postby KidJustin on Thu Aug 12, 2010 6:43 am

i see...i'm probably thinking Ratliff as an overall player....i didn't know his stats in the game as i never use him

good luck with those trades...its a lot more complex...and if things dont go right u might end up stuck with a player u dont want

...or worse, u pick up a random player thinking u r going to trade him...put him on the trading block in a pending deal....but use him in a game before he is dealt...and really like him and want keep him, but poof traded... :o

usually what i do is tryout the trade without saving anything...as a test
once i find one that works for me....
save the first trade as a separate dynasty...continue on with ur dynasty
try the next trade...if it goes though then ur good...continue
if not...just reload it and try again

technically its not cheatin :cheeky:

What about trading Rattlif,Law and Johnson for CJ Miles(SF)(ovrl 70) and Ronnie Price(SG)(ovrl 71)?
Ratllif has 1 year and Law ,Johnson 2 yrs on their contract on the other hand Miles has 3 years and price 1 on his contract

What do you say?

not sure u need miles when u have Deng and Korver and Alexander
price isn't really a PG

but!
price and miles and blout is definitely a big upgrade over ratlif, law, johnson

so i say do it, good trade....but dont make it the end of all ur trades

Of course not. Till the trade deadline i will do more roster shake ups. I want to get some 1 year contracts in order to renew Booze Korver and add another great player and miles is expendable and a lot easier to trade than the others.
also miles is needed in cases like now, with Deng injured and korver the only SF left

December 3:Dallas Mavericks(15-3) @ Chicago Bulls(13-2)
Bulls get a close win over the Mavericks in a 4th quarter thriller

Image
Rose was sensatonal proving that he's an All-Star again

In a match between the two teams with the best records along with Boston, the Chicago Bulls managed to get a really tough win at home against the Dallas Mavericks ,in a game where they have 5 players(from the total 7 who scored, despite the 11 of them played) with over 19 points.
In a nail biting game, which was close from the start till the end of it.The Dallas Mavericks entered srtong in the 4th,having a 5 point lead, but the Bulls managed to equal the score and get a lead as well.At the last 2 minutes, though despite making all the chances they had ,Jason Kidd scored 3/3 three-pointers in 30 seconds and then Beaubois added another one(those were his only points in his only attempt to shot) and Dallas got the difference down to one. Bulls' players were calm from the FT line and manged to take an Offensive board, and eventually took the win

Box Score
DAL 30|30|24|35 119
CHI 29|28|24|42 123

Dallas Mavericks
Points:Kidd(35),Nowitzki(27)
Rebounds:Nowitzki(16),Marion(9)
Assists:Kidd(6)

=========================================================================
December 4:Chicago Bulls (14-2) @ Charlotte Bobcats(6-9)
Bulls with the dominant win over the Bobcats

The Chicago Bulls didn't worry at all in this match as they took the lead in the 2nd quarter and never looked back and with the reserves as well in the 4th managed to finish the game with a 19 point lead.
Bulls had their perimeter players in a second straight great night, with Rose having 21 points ,Korver 18,with a fantastic match again and Gordon 14.
Ben Gordon was 7-11 from the field being 5-6 at the start of the 4th.
Bulls with that win took over the 1st place in the league standings from the Dallas Mavericks and the 1st in the east from the Celtics, showing who's the boss in the league now

Box Score

CHI 32|24|21|27 104
CHA 20|22|26|17 85

Chicago Bulls And Utah Jazz Shake-Up Rosters in a 5-player Trade
Image

The Chicago Bulls and the Utah Jazz agreed on a Deal involving Acie Law,James Johnson,Theo Ratliff,CJ Miles and Ronnie Price.
Law,Johnson and Ratliff will head at Salt Lake, while Miles and Price will go at the Windy City and the Bulls

The Deal took 3 days to be finalized and that was reportedly because of the second thoughts the board of the Jazz had.
Utah now will get the Bench in their Roster they wanted,as they had only 13 players and they were in a difficult situation each time a player was injured.
The Chicago Bulls managed to get an upgrade over Law with Price and a great 3rd option at the SF position after Korver and Deng, with CJ Miles, who will help really much at this point because of the injury Dend has
