A Curry-Less Golden State Upsets A Chandler-Less Charlotte
Somehow Vladimir Radmanovic and Monta Ellis annhilated all competition. How? We don't know. All we do know is that J-Rich was ice cold (free-throws made up 7 of his 12 points) and Anthony Morrow and Desgana Diop (?!) put on the best shows on the Charlotte side.

GSW: 20 | 51 | 74 | 100
CHA: 25 | 44 | 74 | 90

Top Performers:
GSW:
Vladimir Radmanovic: 29 points, 5 assists, 14 rebounds, 4 blocks, 2 steals.
Monta Ellis: 40 points, 6 assists, 2 rebounds, 0 blocks, 2 steals.
Kellana Azubuike: 15 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, 0 blocks, 0 steals.
CHA:
Anthony Morrow: 24 points, 2 assists, 4 rebounds, 0 blocks, 2 steals.
Desagana Diop: 16 points, 4 assists, 13 rebounds, 5 blocks, 3 steals.
Gerald Wallace: 12 points, 5 assists, 11 reounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals.

I rely way too much on 3s. I shoot like 50-60 3s a game and make up to 20-30 of them. Morrow gives me several a game (averages 17 points per game right now - more than Wallace or Jackson  )

Lakers Go Down To The Bobcats
The Bobcats continue their winning streak all the way down to LA. Troy Murphy, the Lakers' starting center led everyone with 19 rebounds, Kobe Bryant led everyone in points (52), but Charlotte's players led in assists, blocks, steals, shooting accuracy, and in the end, the Bobcats took home the win 114-110. Jason Richardson took home his third straight Game MVP award with 36 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 blocks, and a steal while Gerald Wallace showed his ferocious defense to Ron Artest holding Artest to just 4 points and a single rebound, Wallace registered 4 blocks and 8 steals to go along with his 8 points and 11 rebounds. The Bobcats had a commanding 21 point lead late in the third but the Lakers took over a little too late in the fourth: in the last minute alone, Kobe and Fisher combined 13 points, but fell short of the win by 4.

Bobcats' Win Streak Is Stretched To 5 As They Destroy The Raptors
Sure, Chris Bosh is still there, but Bargnani's is down in Phoenix now. Toronto didn't really miss him till he was gone and now they're paying for it. Although there is a very high chance they'll make the playoffs, they were no match for the Cats who clawed at the Raptors all night. Bosh's 20/20 wasn't enough to overpower the Charlotte defense. Stephen Jackson, Gerald Wallace, Tyson Chandler, and Desagana Diop registered at least 3 blocks each and everyone who played for Charlotte tonight had a steal. Ime Udoka surprised everyone when he contested a dunk from Demar Derozan. Udoka was thrown backwards, but drew an offensive foul and was also credited for a block. Stephen Jackson started in front of Jason Richardson for unknown reasons and did a great job. Jackson scored a season-high 33 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, dished 8 assists, and also had two steals and three blocks. Richardson rebounded twice, and he scored 14 points from the bench but didn't really play like he normally does. Raef LaFrentz was a factor for Toronto taking tons of passes from Jose' Calderon and converting 10-22, scoring 24. In the end the Bobcats beat the Raptors 111-87 and expanded their winnning streak to 5.

TOR: 20 | 41 | 57 | 87
CHA: 36 | 57 | 79 | 111

Top Performers:
Points: Stephen Jackson: 33, Chris Bosh: 24, Raef LaFrentz: 24
Assists: Jose' Calderon: 19, Raymond Felton: 9, Stephen Jackson: 8
Rebounds: Chris Bosh: 21, Tyson Chandler: 14, Gerald Wallace: 11
Blocks: Tyson Chandler: 5, Raef LaFrentz: 5, Chris Bosh: 5
Steals: Demar Derozan: 4, Gerald Wallace: 4, Walter Herrmann: 3
FG%: Acie Law: 2/2 (100%), Ime Udoka: 3/3 (100%), Jose' Calderon: 9/10 (90%)

Bobcats Dismantle A Fully-Loaded Washington Wizards Team
The Bobcats found their first six-game winning streak since mid-November in a thriller against serious contenders the Washington Wizards. It seems every trade they made in this season led to their 48-30 record so far. With a starting line-up that includes Brandon Haywood, Antawn Jamison, Carmelo Anthony, Leandro Barbosa, and Gilbert Arenas, they have made themselves a threat to many great teams in the East. But not the Bobcats. Currently, the Bobcats are 4th in the East and Washington is #5. There is a good chance they will meet in round one of the playoffs. The Bobcats proved they would be ready with a 136-120 win in DC. Here's how each position stacked up.

Centers: Tyson Chandler clearly established himself over Brenden Haywood outrebounding him 12-8 and scoring 17 points to Haywood's 10.
Power Forward: Walter Herrmann was definitely outplayed by Antawn Jamison. Boris Diaw's versatility will help in the case we meet in the playoffs. Antawn Jamison played nearly the entire game and put in 24 points, triple of what either Bobcat PF scored.
Small Forward: This is the match-up to watch. Carmelo versus Gerald Wallace. Wallace played his best game of the season today, leading all scorers with 36 and grabbing a tremendous 18 rebounds, while Carmelo trailed by only four points, he quadrupled Wallace's assists.
Shooting Guard: A clear win for Charlotte. Barbosa is a lightning quick player, but really? J-Rich is wrapping up his best season ever with over 32 points per game. Barbosa simply can not guard him. Richardson scored 27 while Barbosa put in 11 for Washington.
Point Guard: Gilbert Arena's rating might be a 90, but Raymond Felton knows how to get him in foul trouble very quickly. Foye played 2/3 of the game while Arenas could only play 10 minutes due to him getting fouled out in the early third quarter. If Felton fails to draw fouls off Arenas, it will be tougher. In those 10 minutes, Arenas scored 15 - three times Raymond Felton's 5.

Early estimate in case Washington meets us in the playoffs: We win in 7.

WAS: 30 | 64 | 93 | 120
CHA: 27 | 57 | 99 | 136

Top Performers:
Gerald Wallace: 36 points, 18 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, 2 blocks

The Chicago Bulls...

As the playoffs draw nearer, the Chicago Bulls are likely to be the team the Bobcats play in the first round. The Bobcats have already targeted Derrick Rose as the Bulls' most serious threat, but as it stands, the Chicago Bulls are not the major threat. After Charlotte swept through Chicago Tuesday night, the Bobcats added to their number of blowouts with a 22-point win against currently 6th seeded Chicago. Derrick Rose was applauded for his crazy triple double (32 points, 11 rebounds, 19 assists) and definitely outplayed Raymond Felton, who was unable to reach double-digits in any facet of the game.

Tyrus Thomas watched Walter Herrmann like a hawk and reduced the Argentinian to a mere 10 points and 6 rebounds. Brad Miller was a serious presence on the boards (16 rebounds). But it was clear who the better overall team was. Charlotte had a total of only 10 fouls (Bulls: 22, Garcia fouled out with 9.) Jason Richardson and Anthony Morrow were absolute bombers from outside connecting a total of 15-26 3P% and gathering 31 points each. Gerald Wallace proved he deserved some accolades for his defense as he held Fransisco Garcia, Quentin Richardson, and Bruce Bowen to four points each and scored the NBA's second-ever five-by-seven (Amare' Stoudamire reached it earlier in the season), as he scored 17 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 9 steals, and 7 blocks, the greatest all-around game by one player many people have seen in their lives. The Bobcats were definitely the better team and are expected to win against the Bulls in the best-of-five series. Many early playoff brackets are already showing a sweep against Chicago.

You'll find out very soon, as the season is ending. I forgot where I really am right now, as I finished the season a few weeks ago and I havent started the playoffs yet. I will post all team records in the Phoenix Suns section where I will hold my next contest in a few days. By then I will update all games and will start the playoffs by the beginning of next month probably.

Atlanta Falls To Charlotte
Without Smith and Johnson, does Atlanta really have anything? Yes, but it wouldn't be enough to take on Charlotte. Jason Richardson is the one name you need to hear about this game. 50 points, 11 assists, and 12 rebounds are all you need to know about stats. And the only thing you need to know about the outcome is that Charlotte won by 16.

CHA: 26 | 69 | 99 | 149
ATL: 31 | 60 | 99 | 133

My bad about the really high scores. I've been trying to keep games down to 6-7 minutes to keep scores in the 100s-110s. This was 9 min. quarters.

Charlotte Goes Into The Playoffs With a Bang
Gerald Wallace couldn't wait more than ten seconds to throw a monstrous dunk. His 6-12 shooting was alright, but he's done better. But that could be said for virtually any player on the floor except Francisco Garcia. Registering 21 points and at least something in every column, Garcia would have been the Player of the Game had his team won. That was Gerald Wallace. 13 points, 14 rebounds, leading your team in assists, all without a foul or a turnover? Congratulations. Walter Herrmann led the Bobcats in scoring with just 20 points, but was only 2-10 from outside. Jason Richardson scraped the bottom, but he was blessed to have solid players to take over for him when it was necessary. In other words, the entire game. Raymond Felton fouled out after racking up six fouls by the fourth quarter and Acie Law took over. He put up a nice three and grabbed a surprising rebound away from an unexpecting Brad Miller.

Derek Rose was something else. Playing all but five minutes, he put up 11 points, while scoring zilch from outside after seven attempts. The Bulls regretted not playing Russell Westbrook more often, but he even underplayed in Oklahoma until he was traded in early February (7.4 ppg, 4.0 apg, 2.2 rpg)and all he scored was a free throw. John Salmons showed off some flashy dunks, but only finished with 8. Rose and Westbrook's backup, Jannero Pargo, didn't play for unknown reasons, although it may have to do with the fact he has had four seperate injuries this season.

Gerald Wallace was awarded the Player of the Game award after scoring 13 points, passing the ball for seven assists, and also earned 14 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocks - all without a foul or a turnover.

Good game by G-Wall. Sucks to see J-Rich struggle though. Scores are realistic now. (Y)

They are. J-Rich has actually struggled a lot lately. I'm definitely not getting rid of him, but I'm letting Anthony Morrow get a lot more playing time.

Salmons' 29 Leads Chicago To Tie The Series

From Salmons' opening dunk to his closing dunk, he was the Bulls' second biggest factor. Derrick Rose struggled with fouls all game, but Russell Westbrook saw his first real playoff action of this postseason. His measley six points were outdone by his rebounding, stealing, AND assisting. His Game MVP Award was justified by high numbers in several columns of the score sheet during his 14 minutes in the game. However, Derrick Rose did see eight assists in the first quarter. This Bulls team would defeat the Bobcats by four to even out the series.

Walter Herrmann filled out his scoresheet just as well as Russell Westbrook. Nowhere on the sheet does it show a single 1 or 2. He was at least 3 in everything from 3-pointers, to blocks, to assists, to rebounds, to turnovers, to steals, to everything. An all-around game was needed tonight, and by bad luck the Bobcats fell short. Also notable were Felton's eleven-assist, eight-steal performance, Gerald Wallace being the leading rebounder for both teams, and a Tyrus Thomas posterization by Tyson Chandler.

Player of the Game:
Russell Westbrook: 6 points (2-5 FG%), 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 8 steals, 2 blocks, 5 turnovers, 3 fouls
