New recap style is better, but try to change the text of the score, its a bit difficult to understand it.
Davis had a great game, but I have to bow for Wallace, 25 rebounds look insane

new style looks good.can't find any disadvantages.good job keep it up...

I resized the score pic and made the text appear in a standard fond. It should be much more readable now.
Well thanks for your opinion Pursuer and Marquies, I'm always looking to improve throughout the season.

Tough loss, but I like youre recap style more now, although I still do think that screen in between the different quarter recaps, kinda interrupt the whole thing. That is just what I am always thinking not only in your dynasty. But that is just my opinion.

Dude, try to trade Mikael Pietrus to Josh Smith

This trade would make your team stronger
Fri Dec 01, 2006 7:27 pm
Thanks for the suggestion but I'm going to stick with the team. I'm not keen on adding another star player to my team as it is well balanced now. And I like the man-to-man defence Pietrus provides for the team. The only thing I'm considering is trading one of my stars for a role-player to keep the challenge up. But that's not going to happen till off-season.

Monstrous game by your backcourt combining for 51. Lakers had no real chance although Kobe did pretty well (He always causes damage, the goal is to limit it)
Good Luck in your next games !
Mon Dec 04, 2006 3:21 pm
Hey nice pics! How these new Kobe's shoe's called? Spalding?
Anyway, good win, though I'd be happier seeing the Lakers win, but it doesn't matter now...
Mon Dec 04, 2006 3:26 pm
Haha good call Pursuer
I say he keeps em
Mon Dec 04, 2006 5:19 pm
Harrr, I think I should finally install the Real Shoe Patch

I didn't really notice that my backcourt was combining for 51 because I concentrated on rebounding with Biedrins and Randolph. I just noticed that I use pics of dunks very often, I may change this in upcoming games.

Warriors Boxscore
Kings Boxscore
Pregame notes
The Golden State Warriors face the Sacramento Kings tonight in their last game of a seven game road trip. The Warriors are looking to defeat their division rival and improve their W/L statistic tonight. The Kings who have a .500 win percentage on the other hand will do anything to prevent the Warriors from winning. They return to the Arena in Oakland after tonights game.
X-Factor of the night: Baron Davis
It will be up to Point Guard Baron Davis to defend scoring machine Mike Bibbe. The Sacramento guard is known for his speed and outside scoring ability which makes him very hard to defend. Davis will have to play very aggressive without getting in foul trouble in order to slow Bibby down. If he can contain him a win for the Warriors should be a lock.
Starting Lineup

First Quarter
With Mike Bibby being defended hard the Kings' frontcourt took over and caused trouble for the Warriors. Bibby found his teammates wide open and passed out of double-teams to allow some easy baskets. Mike Bibby regained his confidence near the end of the first quarter by hitting two threes in a row. Sacramento up 26 - 30.

1 - Jason Richardson with the jumper
2. - Zach Randolph with the fingerroll
Second Quarter
John Salmons provided a spark off the bench for the Kings and Mike Bibby shot very well from beyond the arc to give the Kings a 10 point lead in the second quarter. The Warriors struggled on the offensive end and allowed the Kings to extend their lead. Sacramento up 40 - 52.

1. Mike Miller for two
2. Mike Miller at the line
Players at the half
Baron Davis - 6 pints, 2 rebounds, 5 assists
Brad Miller - 10 points, 8 rebounds, 1 steal, 2 blocks
Halftime Report
The Warriors struggled grabbing rebounds early in the game which allowed the Kings to build a small lead. After a run by the Warriors who were led by the great court vision of Baron Davis which closed the gap and tied the game the Kings found their rythm. Mike Biddy went nuts from beyond the arc scoring point after point. The second quarter was a desaster for Golden State as the Kings increased their lead to 12 due to a nice performance by Kings Center Brad Miller.
Third Quarter
After being down by as much as 17 the Warriors found their rythm and Jason Richardson hit shot after shot with an insane looking glance in his eyes. The Shooting Guard exploded for 15 points till the middle of the third quarter to tie the game. With an awesome performance the Warriors fought their way back into the game and are currently up 79 - 72.

1 - Jason Richardson with the weird looking shot
2 - Mickael Pietrus for two
Fourth Quarter
Mike Bibby still was scoring like a maniac but the Warriors could hold the Kings on distance despite only being up by 5 points. The game developed into a battle between Mike Bibby and Mickael Pietrus who slid over to defend him later in the fourth. Bibby exploded once again but the Warriors could come away with the win. Final score 115 - 109.

1 - White men can't jump
2 - Baron Davis - I don't feel like dancing

King of the Game - Mike Bibby
58 points
4 rebounds
4 assists
Don Nelson's two cent's
"Fighting, challenging shots, playing tough defence and never giving up. That's the stuff I like to see on the court. The team was down by as much as 17 but they never gave up. Jason and Baron dismantled the Kings in the third quarter. Those two can turn around a game by themselves when they are this mad out on the court.
I'm very happy with the way our frontcourt is playing. They are focused and the rebounding totals are on the rise. But our backcourt is basically grabbing not a single rebound, so that's what we have to work on over the next few weeks.
Well, Mike Bibby is a great player. Dropping 58 points when playing against a tough defender like Baron Davis isn't easy but I think Bibby made a lot of mistakes today. It was pretty much a game one against five in the fourth quarter where he attempted shot after shot. He totally forgot about his teammates and that's what we needed to take away the win. Anyway, congratulation to him for this performance."

Jesus.. 58? Never seen Mike score more than 30+ points

Breaking News
The Golden State Warriors and the Orlando Magic announced today that they have finalized a deal involving four players. According to insiders, the Golden State Warriors sent promising Shooting Guard Dajuan Wagner along with defensive minded Center Jahidi White to the Orlando Magic. The Magic on the other hand sent Center Darko Milicic and Power Forward James Augustine to the Warriors. A trade which somehow makes sense for both teams as the Warriors gain depht at their frontcourt while the Magic finally get depht at the 4.

Don Nelson speaks about the trade
"Well, our team has a very strong backcourt with Jason Richardson, Baron Davis, Mike Miller, Penny Hardaway and Anthony Roberson. With Miller and Richardson playing the two we could give Wagner only limited minutes and we felt that's not what he deserves. Our frontcout basically existed of Biedrins, White, Randolph and Diogu, so we were not very deep on these posistions. The acquisition of Darko Milicic was the key of this deal, we've been wanting him for a long time and the only way to get him was a deal involving Wagner. We are not happy to see him go as he as a great amount of potential but he will get more minutes in Orlando. I hope this is the final trade we had to pull off this season so the team can get accustomed to playing together. Darko will play behind Andris who performed great lately but has the chance to start if he plays better."
Tue Dec 05, 2006 4:14 am
Holy cow, 61 points this time, I am still counting
The trade is somehow ok, nothing special though, thats the trades I like most, since I am not a fan of blockbuster trades with All-Stars being shifted from team to team. Pinpoint improvements of the roster, that is where the art of trading lies in
Tue Dec 05, 2006 3:22 pm
Not a bad trade... Actually it looks good... I like it, Darko is a lot faster than Jahidi and had unlimited potential...
Wed Dec 06, 2006 12:51 am
Good win, but I don't get why Nowitzki started it at the bench???
Davis is putting some nice constant numbers

I really like that Johnson's performance, kinda reminds me of last year's playoffs when he scored 43 against Nets...
Wed Dec 06, 2006 1:06 am
I think it is because of the Start % assigned. Dirk is propably haven 97 % and Croshere 3. I don't get why the CPU assigns those numbers but I think it's due to fatigue after playing extended minutes. But it doesn't matter. I let the CPU do the subbing which is somehow exhausting especially when they have only one player of a position on the active roster. (e.g. J.R. Smith on the Nuggets).
Davis is indeed fun to play with. I just try and avoid dunking too often. I'm more the kind of jump shooter. I'm planning to provide a detailed roster information in a couple of days so everyone knows what the players really can.
Wed Dec 06, 2006 2:54 am
I say great win, because it's kinda difficult to win against Mavericks. Davis had a great night, I agree that it is really fun to play with him, because I'm playing with the Warriors too (just for the fun, apart from my Pacers dyn).
Looking forward for that detailed roster information
Wed Dec 06, 2006 4:25 am
Looks real good... Your dynasty is one of the best...!
Wed Dec 06, 2006 4:30 am
@Marquis:
That's true, there are a couple of teams where it is hard to play against them. But it's most likely because of a couple of players like Bibby, Boykins, Stackhous, J.R. Smith, Ginobili or Hughes.
@Gordon #7:
Thanks

It's always nice to see new people posting here. I hope I can keep up with the expectations.

Awesome game by B-Diddy, I really love him in real life and you just give him the go-to-guy role, thats cool. Looking forward to seeing some new stuff. keep it on !

Donnie does Golden State - Roster Breakdown
Week 1 - The Centers
Andris Biedrins is a very defensive minded player. He lacks speed to be more affective on the offensive end but compensates it well with his talent to read plays and his understanding of the game. He might not be a scoring machine but that's not what our team wants. He can contribute when needed though. His rebounding averages have risen from game to game. While putting up below average number at the beginning of this season, 10+ boards now are not rare anymore as he is constantly improving his game. Very impressive is his ability to block shots. His physical presence and height makes him the perfect shot blocker. Especially the penetrating guards have trouble dealing with him. His defence is essential for our team and he will be a great contributor for the Warriors for many seasons.
Strenghts
Rebounding and Shot Blocking
Weaknesses
Speed and Passing
Prediction
Will not be dealt to another team anytime soon
Darko Milicic is the guy we wanted when we negotiated a trade with the Orlando Magic. With Andris we have a great defender, but with Darko we have a more versatile one. His ability to score in the paint area is what we needed. He moves his feet and gets in position to receive the final pass. 10.3 points a game off the bench speak for themselves. His rebounding totals could be higher, but as he is playing limited mintues and still learns our defensive schemes it is okay. His shot-blocking ability is constantly on the rise and threatens especially the high-flying stars on other teams. Nevertheless he hasn't reched his full potential yet. We have to work hard to make him the player he can be.
Strenghts
Screen play and post-moves
Weaknesses
Inconsistancy and attitude
Prediction
May compete against Biedrins for the starting Center at the end of the season.
Wed Dec 06, 2006 7:22 am
Nice
Although Biedrinis is defensive type center, try to score a bit more points with him
