Tue Feb 17, 2015 9:07 pm

Hey guys, so have been thinking of doing a myleague for a while but i cant decide on a team i like. So I thought why not get you guys involved and create a team of nlsc community members, the NLSC All-Stars as it where. Ideally i need between 9-13 players but can make adjustments should numbers fall either side of the target. Recruits with interest please fill in the quick player registration form :

Name:
Age:
Nationality/College:
Position:
Height & Weight:
Appearance Specs:(skin tone,hair,shoes etc)
Player Type:(Scorer, all around, rebounder etc)

Will have further details once i have enough players to get the ball rolling.

haha well it looks like there will be some competition for the starting point role as thats my personal position too. The first in-team rivalry perhaps?

Come on guys, little disappointing that only one person has signed up so for considering the number of views. I've got some great ideas in store for this one to keep everyone involved and have some input into the direction the story will go. Have something pretty cool in store to determine everybodies ratings/position in the rotation so everyone will get a fair shot. Hell even if I have to out do don nelson and play 5 point guards then so be it, small ball can be successfully after all right?

By the looks of it, we're going to be playing relatively small, so I'm putting in the position I play in real life. My secondary is usually centre, so if we're lacking in that department, I can nominate myself for that, instead of small forward. It would at least be realistic, since I never win jump balls anyway.

Awesome now we have our initial 6, i will get to work setting this up! Kenny you can play any damm position you wish, your like my franchise idol, TNL is easily the best dynasty story I've ever read :bowdown2: But in all seriousness was thinking of moving myself to centre with a height boost ( I'm a "tiny" 5'11 in reality), you at the 4, Khan at small, and TG and Kevin at the guard positions with Lightning Lane off the bench. The rest of the team will likely be made up of free agent scrubs unless we get a few more sign ups in the mean time.

Thanks man, it's always great to meet someone who appreciates my work :)

I kind of like the small-ball thing, but it's up to you. I would have suggested putting Khan at centre, since 6'9 could make an undersized centre, but again, you're the one who's running this, so do whatever you think will give you the best experience.

Unless we get someone like Martti, who's about 6'7 or 6'8 in real life, I'm happy with taking the power forward position. I think the rest of the team will dictate whether my secondary position is small forward or centre.

I honestly wouldn't mind playing the centre position since I used to play it IRL until a few of my teammates hit a growth a spurt. It would also add a special dynamic to our team in terms of what we can do offensively and defensively, but its all up to you man

Awesome, that means i can assume my originally intended role of 2nd/3rd Point, so if you're happy to play down low then fantastic.I actually like playing small ball, big ben was one of my favourite players in the day. I'm rather looking forward this!!

Well, in basketball shoes you'd be 6'7 or 6'8... so I was kind of right.

Name: Robert Horry Jr.
Age: 21
Nationality/College: USA, but come from playing in Spain
Position: true PG
Height and Weight: 6'2 and 180 lbs
Appearence Specs: White guy with short brown hair, similar to Chandler Parsons. Not really strong.
Player tipe: Jose Calderon/John Stockton. High IQ, passer but doesn't need the ball in the hands all the posession (unlike Ricky Rubio). Doesn't hunt the assist average, doesn't want stats.

Other characteristics: Solid role player, decent shooter from downtown, feels comfortable off the bench, doesn't have a problem being a role player. He could back up Kevin Parker :D

If you select me I could extend the biography a little bit!

Here I was thinking the inner-team rivalry was going to be between MagicMan31 and Kevin :P

For eligibility sake, you'd have to be at least 19, unless you have a sketchy birth certificate ala Yi Jianlian. Maybe that's something you can work into your story.
