Well I'm going to try and keep this dynasty going. I think the reason I couldnt keep my Clippers dynasty was I got too bored and made all of my transactions at the very beginning of the season.

Played 1st game against 76ers. It was a great game.

In the 1st they started off pretty good in the first couple of minutes. Big Dog went down within the 1st couple of minutes and remained out for the game. We tied it up and took the lead. We held AI to only 6 pts in the quarter. Korver came off of the bench and hit back-to-back 3's in the end of the 1st. Dwyane Wade started off good but got worse as the game progressed. He couldnt make a 2 ft leaner.
28-27 PHI

In the 2nd AI erupted. He scored 8 straight points on back to back 3 pointers. Then he hit a couple of layups and we couldn't stop him. He had 17 points in the quarter. Odom kept us in it, and Wade grabbed a few offensive boards. He dropped 6 dimes in the half, but Snow had 8. He shot the ball well and even made a (BS) 3 pointer which was fully contested as the shot clock expired. Skip (Rafer) missed 2 easy lay-ups (which is significant later.)

55-50 PHI

In the 3rd it remained close. We were able to outscore them by 3 in the quarter. Wade woke up a little bit and hit a 3. EJ started playing well and Butler stayed consistent. Iverson didnt score in the quarter and had 23 going into the 4th. We did regain the lead in the 3rd but couldn't hold it, thanks to Korvers and McKies 3 pt shooting. They hit every time they were open. Malik Allen went down injured with an arm injury but would return.

82-80 PHI

The 4th is where it went crazy. Odom went out early in the 4th with a knee injury. He later returned. The Sixers got into foul trouble. Kenny Thomas picked up his 5th foul with about 2 minutes to go. It stayed close and we fought for every point that we got. We had a 5 point lead but couldnt hold it. AI hit all of his ft's. They regained the lead with 30 secs to go. I couldnt score on my next possession and was forced to foul. They called a TO and inbounded to Marc Jackson. I reluctantly fouled him and he went 1 for 2. I called a TO and I brought Rafer in because he is my best 3 pt shooter. I inbounded to him and tried to get him free off of a pick and role but I couldnt. He was forced to take a contested 3 with 3 secs to go. SWISH!! Skip tied it up with 2.5 seconds remaining!!! The Sixers then tried an 85 footer at the buzzer but missed.


We went into OT tied at 110. I quickly jumped out and on our 1st possession, I got a 3pt play with Wade. A.I. picked up his 5th, but stayed in the game. I got it back and decided to take some time off of the clock. I did but we didnt score on that possession. I continued playing. On a later possession we couldnt hit a shot after 3 offensive rebounds and the next time I checked the score, we were down by 2! I got a defensive stop and Eddie took it to the rack and flushed it on Marc Jackson. We were tied at 125. They called a TO. I brought in Skip again. On their inbound Skip stole the pass! We then called TO with 13 secs remaining. I inbounded to Skip again because I wanted him to take the final shot. Sbow D'd him up so I had to pass. It hit Jones then he threw it to Grant in the corner at the 3 point line. I didnt want him to shoot so I touch passed and hit Odom at the top of the Key. I didnt know it was him but fired(I was relieved because he shoots like a guard so I knew it was him) anyway from 20. Swish-At the BUZZER !!!!. They showed a neat cutscene with my bench exploding and then settling down as the Ref reviewed it. It was good and my bench jumped up hands raised and all.

Iverson was pissed off and walked to the locker room like this .

Great win. I noticed Eric Snow's stats - he's done the same thing every time I've played the Sixers, scoring around 15 while dishing out close to 20 assists.

Yeah. I hate that. My D isn't that good either. Defensive stops are hard for me but I can get steals and turn them into points. I reach for every pass thrown.

Well this game was close. Dwyane started of 3-7 and not very good. It was low scoring and we couldn't get much offense in the beginning of the game. Eddie Jones had numerous wide open 3's and couldn't make them. Caron kept us in hitting 3 of his first 4 shots in the first. At the end of the first we were down 21-19.

The second wasnt much different. We scored more this quarter. Same for the 3rd but we finallt got a close lead. Odom went down in the third with an arm injuty but would return. P-double attemped a ton of 3's in the 4th and missed all but one. We killed them on 72% shooting to 29% in the 4th. We outscored them 31-14 and EJ finally made an open 3.

Hey great dynasty for the 'Double R.' This might sound old but this HEAT dynasty is so hot. I bet after seeing the Heat latley you couldn't resist to use them. They've got great depth within their team, a pack of rising stars, if not they are pretty much already stars. Anyway dude, great game against the Sixers and Celtics. Wade and Skip are exploding for you. First Skip with that final game- winning shot (which is really wierd that he did that a day earlier or so ) But that last game against the Celtics, sounds like Wade really exploded with 17 pts, 4 rebs, 3stls, 7 asts. For a rookie, you can't do any better than POG for a night's work. But overall great dynasty mate, it's really coming together already.

Thanks. You're right, after seeing them I couldnt resist. I like their team and depth, and I'm a big fan of Skip. (since the And 1 mixtape I downloaded about 4 years ago.)

And I think I got tired of my clippers because I made all of my transactions really early and got bored. Plus I was blowing everyone out.

P.S. I'm thinking of trading Eddie Jones and Samaki Walker for a couple of guards. I have too many forwards and centers. I dont want to break the team up this early though.

Last night I played the Pistons. They just seemed out of it the whole game. Wade scored our first 5 points. On the first play of the game, Wade crossed Billups up and threw it down on a one-handed tomohawk jam. Then he hit a 3 off of a pick and roll. Thats about it for Wade. He then hit a dry spell and finished only with 11. Detroit only had Sheed. He was a beast inside in the first half but Odom did a good job countering him. Sheed had 18 in the first half.

I think Eddie Jones heard me talking about trading him and he erupted. He was out on the break finishing with slams and knocking down some open 3's. He had as many as Sheed did in the first half. Odom passed the ball really well and I wanted him to get a triple double but it didnt happen. Oh well, he'll get one sometime this season.

As a team we had 34 assists and 12 steals. We had 12 turnovers, but Detroit had 24.

If a player was having a really below average stretch, we'd generally consider dealing him. We'd always say "We'll give him one more game" and sure enough in the next game that player would have an awesome outing.

Eddie Jones played another great game.

@Dallas

Well in the first I thought we were gonna get our asses handed to us on an iron rod. Dallas was out running every time and I couldnt stop them. I beat their zone using the strategy I told LeBron but they just went back down the court and scored. Finley killed us in the game. We struggled to get offense through the first quarter. Nash had 6(i think) assists in the first quarter-most to FInley on the fast breaks for alley-oops. At the end of the first it was 34-25 mavs thanks to a 3 by skip toward the end of the quarter.

We played considerably better this quarter than in the first. Our defense tightened up a little bit allowing 5 less points. Finley was still on fire. Caron got in foul trouble but was leading the way for our team. Odom played great for me. Wade had a hard time finding the basket but was passing the ball good. Odom was a force inside on D blocking shots and sending mavs home unhappy. We were up 64-63 (no defense by either clubs). Finley was scorching hot with 23 points in the first half. Caron had 15 at the half. The only problem was he had 4 fouls because I forgot he was in foul trouble and put him back in.

In the third it stayed close but Butler picked up his 5th a couple minutes in. Rasual Butler and SKip played well off of the bench to fill in the gaps. Rasual had 8 points and Skip had 12 and 3 assists. We started doubling Finley and he only scored 11 in the quarter. We went into the 4th up 5.

We pulled away in the 4th. Eddie hit 3 or 4 threes to give us the lead. Nash kept up his assists dropping a career high. Jamison played well but Odom kept denying them in the 4th. Butler fouled out halfway through the 4th. Nash didnt shoot well and we managed to pull it out, sinking our free-throws in the 4th.

@ San Antonio

We traveled to the southern U.S. to take on Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs. In the first we couldnt get anything going, but the spurs could. It was extremely hard for us to go to the hole and get shots in the basket without getting our lay-ups adjusted or blocked. Duncan got into foul trouble really early in the game. I took charges everytime he tried to back me down. Regardless, at the end of the first we were down 24-14.

It was a fairly low scoring game throughout the first half. The defense dictated the tempo for the most part. Then in the final few minutes of the quarter, with TD out we made our run. We were down 17 and hit it. We ended the quarter on a 20-4 run to end up down only 1 point, 41-40. Through the first half Odom rebounded the ball well with a double double at half time.

In the 3rd with 9:21 remaining we got our first lead. It was short lived as on the next possession Bowen hit a three and took it back. Duncan sat out an awefully long time. Turkoglu kept up the scoring and Horry was pretty solid off of the bench hitting a couple of 3's. We managed to end the quarter up by two-73-71.

The 4th was a close well fought battle between both of us. Wanting to catch the NCAA Slam Dunk Contest I couldnt wait for it to end. Hedo and Manu continued to play well for SA. Wade stepped it up too and Jones played well. In the final minute we jumped out to a 5 point lead. Then San Antonio scored on a Rasho layup and cut it to three. We held the ball for as long as we could and then tried to score. Butler played great for us scoring 8 in the final quarter. Eddie Jones hit his ft's and we managed to pull this one out.

VS. Minnesota

Well this game started off pretty bad. Its been a while so I dont remember much. Spree was a beast for Minnesota. He was passing the ball well and shooting even better. He was the first option on the team it seemed over KG. We ended up down by 9 to end the quarter. They continued to put salt in the wound in the second. Then it, well, we, hit! I think KG and Spree were both on the bench. They were up by double digits and then we went on a run. We were hitting 3's. Odom even knocked down a couple. Butler played big against the zone and we ended the half out scoring them 31-15. We were up then 55-46.

They didnt know what hit them. That was evident in the 3rd when we got up double digits. As many as 19. Wade broke out in the quarter with 10 3rd quarter points. Minnesota turned it on in the 4th, scoring most of their points in the final couple minutes. Spree kept launching 3's and making them. Then they would foul us. They shot a wopping 77% in the 4th! We pulled it out though in a close one.

Trade Rumors

There are rumors that Eddie Jones may be headed out later in the season for someone else. Maybe Ricky Davis, Joe Johnson, or maybe Michael Redd. These are just rumors.

I couldnt score on him so what the heck. We struggled to find offensive flow through the 1st quarter. At the end of the 1st, JR Bremer was fouled on a 3 with 1.5 secs to go and hit all of them to tie the game at 27. In the second we managed to get it going, but Odom got into serious foul trouble. He had picked up 3 in the 1st quarter, because I didnt have enough time to sub him before the CPU threw the ball in. Haslem played good off of the bench for me. At half time we were up 59-53.

In the 3rd we kinda came unraveled. Odom stayed in foul trouble and Haslem kept it up off of the bench. The only problem was that we had no answer for Yao who turned it on. Every shot he took was a layup, dunk, or freethrow. They outscored us in the quarter by 3.

In the 4th, up 84-81, we died. Offense dissapeared. We had got a good lead but it diminished. We had even gotten up by 10. Steve Francis was injured within the 1st possession of the quarter. He would not return but suffered only a mild left arm injury. Mark Jackson stepped it up for them, though, scoring only 6, but dropping 10 dimes. Most to Yao who we had no answer to in the second half. In the final minutes, we traded baskets and Houston ended up with a 3 pt lead. I brought in Skip to take the 3 with 25 seconds to go. He got a decent look but missed. I immediately fouled Mark Jackson who got the rebound. Odom fouled out as he was the only one that attempted to catch him and foul him. Jackson went 2-2. This was our last chance. We didnt have enough time, though. I couldnt get a good shot off with skip until the buzzer, but that was too late. He sank the 3 but we still lost by 2.

That ends our 6 game win streak. We are now 6-1.

Vs. Cleveland

Same ol, same ol' crappy start. We couldnt seem to score on the inside because of a certain 7'3 guy who was blocking our shots. Anyway, EJ picked up a quick foul 5 seconds into the game. Lebron got 2 ft's and made both. Next Cavs possession EJ picks up another on a driving Lebron! He's out with only a minute into the game. I brought in Skip and he played pretty well for us. At the end of the first we got the lead, 24-22.

In the second Wade started playing good. LBJ went down driving to the hoop again with a left ankle injury. (injury update next post) He would not return. He finished with 9 pts on 2-6 shooting. Anyway, Booz started playing. We had a hard time matching up with him and Z. They outscored us in the quarter by 10 to go into the half up 54-46.

The bench for Cleveland played real well in place of the injured LeBron James. Wade's output decreased for us as he shot under 40%. He's having a pretty bad shooting season. Grant grabbed everyboard in sight pretty much but was very fatigued only a few minutes into the 3rd. From there we made a couple of runs but it was useless. They had a 14 pt lead going into the 4th and it didnt really change. We took alot of three's to try and get back, but it didnt help. The effort wasnt there. I guess that my team was tired from winning 6 in a row and knocking off big time western conference powerhouses.

We killed 'em-nuff said. We took off in the 1st quarter and did not stop. We were up once in the 1st with 4 minutes to go 23-8. Then we ended on a 14-3 run. Everyone wasd contributing and our D was playing great. We had over 70 at half time! In the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Washington figured out how to score with over 20 the final 3 periods. Our D slacked off but our offense was relentless. Eddie Jones played like he didnt want to get traded and scored 16 points in the second quarter. ANyway, we blew them out.

We started this game off pretty well staying neck and neck with the Lakers who are only 4-5. Payton was doing most of the work for them, while Odom was doing most of the work for us. Shaq didnt score at all in the 1st. We got the lead at the end of the 1st-31-27. We vanished in the second. The Lakers were able to get out and run and got a good sized lead through the rest of the game until the 4th. In the 4th we outscored them by 14 and walked away with a victory. Kobe didnt play real well as he was only 5/12.

Yeah, he's having good all around games, but he's been shooting a very low percentage, unlike in the real NBA. I'm trying to give him workouts to improve his shooting but nothing is happening.

Heat welcome G/F Jason Richardson

In a 6 player deal (well a 2 player, 4 scrub) deal, the Heat acquired Jason Richardson right before the game against the Seattle Supersonics. Richardson will bring high flying slams on the break and good outside shooting to the team.

"We are happy to have Richardson now, says GM Ruffryder( ). We have been lacking some outside shooting this year. Eddie played well for us, but he couldnt seem to knock down that open J very consistently. I can't tell you how many times he's had an open three and missed."

@ Seattle

We started off this game on fire, with the hot shooting from Jason Richardson. They left him open on the perimeter too many times and he burnt them. Rashard was doing most of the work for Seattle. He was making his shots, but it wasnt enough. We ended the 1st quarter up by 15 points and J-Rich had 11.

In the second Richardson continued his hot shooting, but Seattle found some offense from one of the least likely people. Jerome James was injured early in the 2nd and returned with a vengeance. He was playing great defense blockin 7 shots in the game. He was a beast in the low post, but at the half we had the lead, 53-40. Richardson had 22.

In the second half Seattle threatened a little bit in the third. They went on a couple of runs and got the lead down to 3 a couple of times. We held on though putting some space between us mainly from downtown. They closed the gap and we went into the 4th up 76-71. In the 4th we broke away. Dwyane Wade was having a monster of a half with 17 in the second half. We had 0 Steals going into the 4th. I decided to press and double team the guards coming up the court. We came away with 7! steals in the quarter, compared to there 2 for the game. J-Rich and Wade had a little dunk contest off of the steals. In the end we blew them out.
