Well, we brought my Ps2 with us in the car on the way to South Carolina, and I decided to sim some seasons. I ended up being offerec the job of the San Antonio Spurs GM. I accepted, brought in LeBron James and others, and now the team has a much different look from the team I got Carmelo Anthony from. In my first season I went 22-7, but was knocked out in the conference finals by Seattle. In my second year I dropped way down to 15-14, but rode the sixth seed to an NBA championship. I was knocked out of the playoffs in the second round the following 2 years, then went 21-8 and dominated the postseason, losing only 3 times the whole playoff and winning the championship in a season that saw James win his first MVP award. The past year I went 16-12 and was knocked out in the second round, and I look to bring another championship our way this coming year. I recently made a trade with New Jersey that freed up my cluttered backup big men, in exchange getting 3rd year point gard Ripley Fagan, who will be my starting PG this year. I have a great bench that can contribute greatly, and they may become starters sometime.

San Antonio Spurs 2010/2011 Roster:

Name - Position - Height/Weight - Years Pro - Overall Rating

Tyson Chandler - C - 7'1/247 - 9 - 86

Marvin Williams - PF - 6'9/236 - 5 - 85

LeBron James - SF - 6'9/250 - 7 - 99

Jason Richardson - SG - 6'6/225 - 9 - 90

Ripley Fagan - PG - 6'1/220 - 2 - 68

Travis Outlaw - SF - 6'9/215 - 7 - 79

RaShad McCants - SG - 6'4/206 - 5 - 78

Michael Delk - C - 6'11/251 - 3 - 72

Ali Byers - C - 6'11/268 - 1 - 70

Christopher Chang - C - 7'1/296 - 2 - 68

Howie Blain - PG - 6'1/210 - 4 - 65

Yannis Kapov - PG - 6'5/206 - 2 - 66

Inactive Roster:

Ronald "Flip" Murray - SG/PG - 6'3/196 - 8 - 61

Finnian Leonard - SF - 6'9/193 - R - 66

Fredrik Battaglia - SF - 7'1/226 - R - 64

First game of season @ New Orleans/Oklahoma City

I didn't really get a job from the Spurs and all that, I was bored and didn't want to touch my Houston Dynasty, so I made a Spurs dynasty, but I accidentally overwrote my beloved Rockets Dynasty dynasty during the vacation. I had to make up a story.

Fagan, Spurs spoil home opener for Hornets

Ripley Fagan led the way as San Antonio rolled over NOK to start the season off with a win. Fagan tallied 36 points to go with 7 assists and 5 steals. The game was almost even, literally, through the first three quarters, as both teams scored the same amount of points in the first quarter (24) and the second (19), and San Antonio had only a 1 point lead going into the fourth, but they pulled away with help from Fagan's 15 points in the period. Gilbert Arenas led all scorers with 37, and LeBron James added 20 for San Antonio.

Yup, the key is to draft younger players in the draft so they can only get better.

Yea, I was thinking about putting one of my (many) centers on the Ir to get him back, he's on a 5 yr deal and I don't want to waste it.

Marbury leads Knicks over Spurs in OT

Stephon Marbury and LeBron James each scored a mammoth 59 points, but it was Marbury's points in overtime that led the Knicks over San Antonio at the SBC center on Saturday. He hit a three with 1,3 left in the 4th to send it into OT, then helped the Knicks to pull away and forse the Spurs to foul.

"Kudos to the Knicks, we had a fair lead in the fourth, and they came back on us." said head coach Jacob Milani. "Starbury just couldn't be stopped, and LeBron was the same for us. We won't dwell on this, we'll just worry about Utah in our next game." After the game, the Spurs activated Flip Murray from the IR and sending Yannis Kapov to the IR.
