Something tells me this is gonna be a good one ( esp since your playing 12 min quarters).

I love the trade, getting Bassy makes it very appealing and Reef can go off your books at the end of the season if you dont want to resign him.

Your line up looks really nice, i cant wait for the start fo your season (Y)

Good luck

Raptors Defense Clamps down Bobcats

Toronto- The Bobcats came into town to face the new look Toronto Raptors in what was a Defensive show by the Raptors they dominated from the start with a 8-0 run, And never looked back some bright spots for the new team in the nba was rookie Emeka Okafor who led the bobcats with 16pts. The raptors look like a well balance team all 5 starters scored in double digits with new SF shareef abdur-rahim leading the way with 19pts. One Sour note for the raptors was Forward Lamond Murray who didnt have kind words for Raptors Gm Yessie who didnt see the floor vs the bobcats said " i just dont get it you make a trade and get two more forwards on the team were does that leave me on the bench, im not a bench warmer i like to help my team, if i dont see the floor next game i want out of here".

Bobcats - 70
Raptors - 90

NBA NEWS
Atlanta Hawks Sign Forward Rookie Justin Reed

Raptors Gm Yessie after hearing about Lamond Murray's comments he responded really loud. with a few days before Toronto's next game we had time to talk to teams and found a taker for the disgruntled Murray sending him to Minnesota with F/G Ruber patterson who had 0pts in his only game with toronto, In return Raptors aquired Center Michael Olowakandi, F/G trenton Hassell, and Forward Eddie Griffin. Raptors Gm Yessie had some comments" Hey we had a few days before our next game and Minnesota was very interested in Murray i didnt do this because he mentioned he didnt want to be hear i like players who want to help there team its just we had too many players at the position and well there was not enough minutes to go around we really needed some big man we had Eric Williams playing PF if anything that right there was our weakness vs bobcats Okafor had his way with Eric, Now Eric can go play his natural position at SF. Theres no hard fealings between Murray and me i wish him the Best"

im trying to make it my own. its more fun that way i have made 2 trades to set up the team i want to use its very unlikely i will make another trade anytime soon. i chose raps cause they won the poll. the current lineup of the raps wasnt in my playing style i didnt like rose and i can play better with rahim.

Raptors Slip by Wizards in Thriller

Toronto- Chris Bosh Almost Cost the Raptors the game with 2.3 second left in the 4th quarter Raptros leading 92-90. He hacked Ethan Thomas in the middle of a lay-up Bosh just smiled at his teamates and pointed at his head as if he knew what he was doing. Sam Mitchell didnt look to pleased on the sidelines just letting Bosh have it, Why would he foul Thomas with only second left in the game. Bosh said after the game " i know Ethan and hes no what you would call the best Free Throw shooter in the league i knew i was beat and i just hacked him making sure the ball didnt go in, i knew what i was doing". Yes Bosh knew exactly what he was doing he had fouled the Wizards worst Free Throw shooter, and with a 2pt lead bosh had taken the biggest risk he banked on Thomas missing atleast one shot and with 2.3 seconds left no way would they get another attemp to score. Thomas pulled up to the line and swish he makes the 1st free throw, Now the whole crowd in Toronto erupts and starts roaring loudly MissMiss Miss Miss!!! Thomas shoots his 2nd Free throw and "Clank" off the back of the rim and who else but Bosh comes down with the rebound to seal the game for the raptors.

Mourning Ask about what bosh did " that right there just showed the whole team, no wait the whole league how much this kid has grown seens coming into the league he made a veteran move and took it upon himself to either be the hero or the goat. he could have given the Wizards another Shot in overtime"

Coach Sam Mitchell spoke after the game " I might have overreacted on the sidelines but its a play that rarely happens and in the heat of the game you kinda lose track and i didnt notice who he fouled until i gave him an ear full and i noticed it was Washingtons worst Free throw Shooter, yeah i already apoligized to Chris but i just hope it doesnt happen again to soon it almost killed me"

Raptors Tune Out Jazz for 3rd straight Victory

Toronto- Alonzo Mourning played the role for the Toronto Raptors that Vince Carter once did. Alonzo made two huge 15ft jumpers and came up big in the fourth quarter as the Raptors posted a 105-81 victory over the Utah Jazz.
After trading the disgruntled Carter to the New Jersey Nets during the Off-season, the Raptors were left without a legitimate go-to guy. In his 12th season, Mourning is among the players that is being counted on to step up. "I've been in this league a long time and I know how to play in the fourth quarter," Mourning said. "Rafer (Alston) and Mo (Peterson) did a great job of penetrating and finding me just outside the paint and I was able to knock them down." After the Jazz clawed within 89-74, Peterson and Alston hit two big 3-pointers with 4:15 remaining(Mo). Then Alston connected with 2:17 to go to put away the Jazz. Chris Bosh added 18 points and 14 Rebounds. "We've got a lot of guys on this team who can score points," Bosh Said "People forget that we've got Shareef, Rafer, Mourning and Mo who can score points. To our credit, it's going to have to be a different two or three guys every night."

Carlos Boozer had 19 points and 11 rebounds and Mehmet Okur pulled down 9 boards and a dissapointing 2pts for the Jazz, who fall to 1-2 This season. "I thought their team played hard tonight," Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said. "They went through a stretch where our team got back in the ballgame, but they were able to finish us off. They were hitting their shots and had us on our heels a great deal."

Raptors Feast on Grizzlies :chug:

Toronto- Chris bosh recorded 22 points and 8 rebounds as the Toronto Raptors defeated a Talented Memphis Grizzlies team 90-86. Bosh has been one of the leaders to step up so far this season for the raptors who are now 4-0 and headed to Miami to Face the Big Diesel.
"We have a lot of guys that can shoot and score on this team, so what we need to do is take teams out with our defense," Bosh Said "We weren't playing our style of basketball in the first half. They were killing us on the offensive glass, so we decided at half that we had to pressure their game and get them out of the paint."
Toronto got a scare with 9:35 left in the fourth quarter, when Alonzo Mourning sprained his left ankle during a collision with Memphis Center Lorenzo Wright. Mourning limped off the court but returned four minutes later and finished with 16 points. Toronto limited Memphis to just two offensive rebounds in the second half after giving up 12 in the first. The Grizzlies led by as many as nine points in the second quarter, but the Raptors stayed close by making Good passes and Shots in the first half and trailed just 47-45 at intermission. Toronto took control in the third quarter, opening a 76-62 lead its biggest of the game on Telfair's 3-pointer with 2:19 left. "We had a lot of good looks, and a lot of them inside the paint," Gasol said. "But we couldn't connect and we couldn't get to the line. They came back and answered with some buckets and that was the turning point."

Raptors Repel the Heat

Toronto- -- After the Miami Heat got the stops, Alonzo Mourning and the Toronto Raptors got the rebounds. Mourningl had two crucial follow shots and Chris Bosh turned an offensive rebound into the winning free throws as the Raptors survived a big game by Shaquille O'Neal for a 103-98 victory over the Heat. "You have to try to win early in the season specially on the road," Raptors GM Yessie said. "Even if we had lost tonight, our guys played hard and they defended. If we do that, we're going to win a lot of games." Shareef, who had 27 points and 3 boards on the offensive end, launched a 3-pointer that bounced toward the left corner. Bosh ran it down and was run into by Eddie Jones with 15 seconds to go. "I knew Shareef was going to shoot the three," Bosh said. "First I started to go towards the middle to get the rebound, then I decided to just stay on this low baseline. Shaq was in the middle and if it went that way he was going to get it anyway. It came right to me." After Bosh sank the free throws, the Heat had a chance to tie, but Wade was forced to give up the ball to Kenyon Dooling, whose 3-pointer was partially blocked. Wade ran down the loose ball but also missed a 3-pointer. "I had the ball in my hands but I didn't get as good a look as I wanted to," said Wade, who missed an open O'Neal after an initial pick-and-roll. "Still, I thought it was going in and when it missed I was shocked." The Raptors had seen a six-point lead dwindle to 93-92 when Mourning tipped in a miss by Morris Peterson and put home a missed 3-pointer by Alston for a 97-94 edge with 1:18 to go. "I was just trying to stay with it," said Mourning. "I knew I could get to the basket and tip it in. I think I've been doing a good job of reading their guys inside. I just stayed around the basket." The Heat failed to get the rebounds they desperately needed down the stretch. "Three times we don't get rebounds, including the last one," Heat coach Stan Van Gundy said. "It's inexcusable where we don't go to get the ball with the game on the line." O'Neal had a game-high 36 points and 14 rebounds and Wade scored 11 points for the Heat, which have lost there 2nd game of the season. "It was obvious we didn't do what we were supposed to do," O'Neal said. "We're supposed to beat that team every time. It's all about what the team does. I could care less what I do. If we don't win none of that Sh*t matters."

i hear u on that 1 yessie. i feel the same way wit my dynasty. i got 2 replies at the very beginning, after that nothing. its only because all these other dynasties like micchys and kobes and scorpions, and others... they r all off the charts amazing and so much work is put into them. so unless ur willing to put so much effort into it to make an amazing & original dynasty, theres no point in replying to it... cause nothing will blow ppl away. the standards are very high so its tough to meet those standards. but i think ppl still view them... they jus dont reply. wen i get 1 reply i get all excited lol

u can use it as motivation to improve ur dynasty

the way i see it is that if ppl dont show much interest... ill still keep posting... as long as my views continue to rise. i will jus try to create more original ideas, and not do a recap of EVERY game. every 5 games ill jus say who i played and the score... and then for the exciting game (my last one), ill post

btw yessie nice dynasty i like it and ive been checking in, jus not posting. (Y) hang in there

edit: also thats wat i find strange abotu some dynasties. i dont need to kno all the team history crap... or the coaches sons nephews name. i jus wanna c the juicy stuff
Posts keep posters happy. Happy posters mean good posts. :)
