Halftime Report
Dallas- 69 Lakers- 72
John- Hello everybody we are here in the TNT studio I John Mazzocchi am here and I am now joined by Jim Defalco, David Rodriguez and of course, Charles Barkley. How are you gentlemen?
Charles- Pretty good john
Jim- Meh, I'm ok
David- Bad!
John- Why bad Dave?
David- I am really upset by the lack of defencive intensity by the Mavericks here they are not doing good on defence, and theyre Offencive performance is not up to what we all thought either. The only player that is even REMOTELY up to what we all thought is T-Mac with 15 points and 4 assists and 3 rebounds.
Jim- Ya' know i couldn't agree with you more Dave, the Mavericks are NOT doing very well rite now and even though they got the leas in the 1st quarter, they just plain fel lapart i nthe 2nd quarter and thats why the Lakers have the lead rite now.
John- Ok gentlemen verry good points, but the 2 huge stories in todays game so far, Injuries plaguing the Mavericks already... the 2 big injuries out of the 3, Carmello Anthony and Chris Bosh. First Off.... Carmello Anthony, 1st Quarter took a hit and has not come back, Charles.
David- In case you guys missed it heres the big hit Carmello got...
*Zoom To Monitor*
*Footage shows*
*Footage Ends, Back To Desk*
Charles- Ooooh. that was a hard hit, we have heard fro mthe team doctor and he has sprained his right wrist and will be out 3-4 weeks.
John- Also hurt, Chris Bosh, the starting center. He took a hit, but not as hard as Carmello, We have also heard from the team doctor and it is not as serious as we thought he's just going to be out for the rest of todays game and has been advised to sit most of the next too. So gentlemen, going into the second half, predictions?
Jim- Its gonan be tough for the Mavs to pull it together but one thing, Wally Szczerbiak HAS to step up and take over for Mello. So I'm gonna say LA in the end
David- I'm gonna have to agree with you Jimmy Lakers in the end.
John- Aight, Charles?
Charles- Wow, this is wierd I'm gonna have to go with LA.
John- Well I always gotta be different, Mavericks are gonna win this game. Well Marv, Czar, back to you guys for the second half

Dallas Mavericks- 79 V.S Sacramento Kings- 81
Kings Take game 1 And Lead 1-0

Image

Game 1-
Mavericks @ Kings

Series Tied 0-0

Bill Walton on TNT After Game 1- Where were the Dallas Mavericks tonight? Where was the defence? Where was the Offence? but most importantly... Why am I asking you all these questions? Simply put, the Kings were outstanging tonight. Altho, most importantly, Marcus Camby, with a breakout game with 47 points, he was simply put, Insane. But, if the Mavericks have another game like this, they will most definateally loose this series. Most importantly, Carmello Anthony, once again, time after time, him going down Again! We have alotho heard from the team doctore, and will return tomorrows game. Well essencially, the Mavs need to pull it together. Well, we'll see tomorrow

Injuries-
DAL- Chris Bosh-
Injured In- 3rd Quarter
Returned In- Did Not Return
Will Return- Next Game
