Warriors Dynasty

Sun Jan 02, 2005 12:07 pm

In the offseason I traded Jason Richardson, John Edwards, and a rookie guy(he was like a 50) to the Hornets for Jamaal Maglorie, J.R. Smith, and Ronald Dupree

heres my roster

C Jamal Maglorie- 69
PF Troy Murphy- 64
SF- Mike Dunleavy- 67
SG- J.R. Smith- 61
PG Derek Fisher- 64

Bench-
PG- Speedy Claxton- 60
SG- Mikael Pietrius- 60
SF- Ronald Dupree- 60
PF-Andres Bierndis (sp?)- 58
SF- Kyle Korver- 58
C- Mario Kasun- 54
SF- Eduardo Najera- 53

IR-
Adonal Foyle- 52

any suggestions, i've been trying to trade Foyle because his contract is rediculous

i'm not that good but my team is very young and I'm liking the depth I have at each postion, especially the guards :D

Look for a team with a lot of cap space and a player who isn't very good but has a small contract (or one that will expire at the end of the season). You might want to give the Bobcats a look. ;)

no team has enough space

the bobcats have none, there one of the top teams in the league at year 2

i belive they signed Bonzi Wells and Zach Randolph in free agency to go along with Emeka

First rule, never trade J-Rich. He's blowing up in my dynasty. I packaged Fisher with Foyle for 1 weak player with 1 year left on his contract then Dale Davis & Cliff Robinson retired. By year 2 I had plenty of cap space. Signed B.Haywood & Abdur-Raheim. Claxton is a good starting pg, he gets alot of steals and is very fast.

My starting lineup is:

B.Haywood
S.Abdur-Raheim
A.Henson (rookie I drafted)
J.Richardson
S.Claxton

Bench:
T.Lue
T.Murphey
J.Barry
E.Piatowski
C.Williamson
A.Rayer (rookie I drafted)

I just won the championship and I will be starting my third year soon.

Trade JRich if you can get a top PG (I got Steve Nash for him). Then make sure you get a mid 60s SG to replace him and a good center (i.e. Magliore). I wound up with a starting line of Magliore, Murphy, Dunleavy, Morris Peterson and Nash. That's a championship combo.

I dont agree with trading J-Rich, but at least we got a fair share of warriors fans on this site. (Y)

Normally I would never trade JRich either, and it took a long time to take him off my "untouchable" list. But I wanted Nash bad enough I guess :-)

As a new member of this site I am very pleasantly surprised by how many people are posting Warriors dynasties and all.
