Bulls Feat | from Losers to Boozer (and Co)

Postby iamamac on Sat Apr 16, 2011 5:20 am

I'm on vacation, so I guess I'll start a new season. I've already played some games, so I'll write about them briefly. Unfortunately, I don't have the boxscores for those games :(, but I'll have them for the next games that I'll play. Wish me luck!

Flashback....

Denver Nuggets 98, Chicago Bulls 93

Chicago Bulls played their first game of the season against Denver Nuggets in Pepsi Center. Unfortunately, they lost a close game. During the first half, the game was quite intense, but during the second half, shots just wouldn't go in for the Bulls. During the third quarter, Bulls were already down big (I remember the score was 59-77 at the end of 3rd quarter). In the final quarter, Bulls tried to make a comeback, and succeeded in reducing the deficit to a few points, but it wasn't enough. Carmelo Anthony scored 32 points, Chauncey Billups added 24 and J.R. Smith contributed a double-digit number of points. For the Bulls, Deng dominated with 23 points, followed by Derrick Rose (18 points and 8 assists).

Chicago Bulls 99, Houston Rockets 84

Chicago Bulls sunk Houston Rockets at home. Bulls played excellent defense, grabbing season-high 38 rebounds. Plus, Noah and Boozer had 3 blocks apiece. Noah did a good job holding Yao Ming down to only 8 points and 6 rebounds.
