I have decided to start a new dynasty over since in my Mavs dyansty on the hardest level in I could not lose. So I decided to use the Cavs and make some changes and hope I would have closer games.

Cleveland, OH - Today it was announced by the Cavs front office that major changes have been made to the team with three trades that have brought in players that Coach Silas believes can help make this team a contender in the Eastern Conference.

First the Cavs announced that they have traded Center Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Center DeSagana Diop, & 1st Round Pick to the Indiana Pacers for Center Jermaine O'Neal & Center Primoz Brezec.

The Cavs then announced that they have traded Point Guard Dajuan Wagner & Shooting Guard Jason Kapono to the Memphis Grizzles for Point Guard Jason Williams.

The Cavs also dealt Center Ruben Boumtje Boumtje, & Point Guard J.R. Bremer to the Atlanta Hawks for Point Guard Dan Dickau & a 1st Round Pick.

The last deal by the Cavs was that they signed Guard Demarr Johnson and then traded him to the Miami Heat along with Point Guard Kevin Ollie for Power Forward Udonis Haslem and Center Wang Zhizhi.

The Cavs also announced the sigining of veteran Glenn Rice for offense off of the bench. The details of the deal are one year at league minimum.

Cavs Pull Out Major Upset Over Kings On The Road

Sacramento, CA - The Cavs opened up their 2003-2004 season on the right note with a big upset over the Kings 82-79. The Cavs had an unbelievable fourth quarter on their way to victory outscoring the Kings 34-24 to pull out the come from behind victory.

The Kings opened up the game fast with an early 12-0 run and looked to be to much for the Cavs. By the Cavs started to chip away at the lead towards the end of the first quarter when they were sparked by their bench with Dan Dickau & Glenn Rice leading the way with 6 points each in the first to make it 26-14 after one quarter. The Kings played a unbelievable second quarter led by their star Peja Stojakovic who had 12 in the quarter and 24 at the half as the Kings led 44-34 at the half.

The Cavs came out in the third quarter and were able to run off a 10-0 run led by the great play of Jason Williams who had 4 points and 3 assists during the run. The rest of the third quarter was mostly back and forth basketball that saw the Kings leading 52-49.

The fourth quarter the Cavs stars showed why they are considered stars, as rookie Lebron James looked if he was resting up for the fourth quarter. As he was shut down all game long and went into the fourth with only 11 points, but was able to reel off 15 fourth quarter points to help push the Cavs to the victory including some critical free throws down the stretch. Jermaine O'Neal also picked this time to shine as he put in 14 fourth quarter points and also grabbed 7 rebounds in the quarter. Besides for those two the rest of the Cavs only scored 4 points in the fourth quarter.

The Cavs were led by a triple double performence by the newly acquired Jermaine O'Neal who had 24 points, 20 rebounds, & 10 blocks. The Cavs also got a great performence out of Lebron James who had 26 points, 4 rebounds, & 7 assists. Cavs also got good performences from Eric Williams (10 points) & Jason Williams (10 points & 10 assists). While the Kings were led by Peja Stojakovic who had 42 points & 8 rebounds.

The Cavs will now travel to Phoenix for a game against the Suns.

Cavs Pull Out Win on James's Game Winning Shot

Phoenix, AZ - The Cavs were able to hold on and pick up their second win of the season last night against the Suns 110-109 on a last second shot by Lebron James.

The Cavs go out to a fast start in this one with a big 30 point first quarter and a 30-22 lead at the end of one. The Suns were able to come back in the second quarter and pull ahead for awhile but went into halftime tied at 60. The third quarter was back and forth with both teams untill the Suns put together at 16-4 run to end the quarter and lead 92-80 going into the fourth quarter.

But the fourth quarter once again saw Lebron James & Jermaine O'Neal put on clutch performences to help the Cavs to their second straight come from behind fourth quarter victory. James put together a 16 points fourth quarter including the game winning shot, while O'Neal had 15 points in the fourth quarter including a key block down the stretch. As with just under 1 minute to go and the Suns up 4, Cavs veteran Glenn Rice hit a three off a nice kick out pass from Wang Zhizhi in the post. Then on the next play Suns forward Shawn Marion thought he had a clear lane for the dunk but was blocked from behind by Jermaine O'Neal which then led to a fast break lay-up for Jason Williams to put the Cavs up one. But the Suns answered back with a put back dunk by Joe Johnson off a Marion missed shot. So with just 10 seconds left the Cavs inbounded the ball at half court to Williams who found James in the post with just 3 seconds left. James then put up a fade away jump shot and the buzzer that went in nothing but net. After the ref looked at the replay he ruled it was good and the Cavs pulled out with a one point victory.

The Suns were led by Shawn Marion who had 28 points, 14 rebounds, & 6 assists. While the Cavs were led by Lebron James who had 32 points, 6 rebounds, & 7 assists & Jermaine O'Neal who had 26 points, 19 rebounds, & 11 blocks. The Cavs also had good performences from Eric Williams (15 points), Jason Williams (17 points & 8 assists), Glen Rice (11 points), & Jeff McInnis (9 points & 6 assists)

The Cavs will now continue to their last stop on this three game road trip which is in Portland to take on the Trail Blazers.

Cavs Pull Out Third Straight Victory

Portland, OR - The Cavs were able to hold on after blowing a 20 point lead to leave Portland with a 103-98 victory.

The Cavs went up early on the Blazers and never looked back until the fourth quarter. With the Cavs up 12 after one quarter, 16 after 2 quarters, and 19 after 3 quarters it was looking very promising. But the Blazers came out in the fourth with a nice little run and were able to cut the lead to 2 points, but could not get any closer.

The Blazers were led by Zach Randolph who had 28 points & 15 rebounds. While the Cavs were led by Lebron James who had 27 points & 5 assists & Jermaine O'Neal who had 22 points, 17 rebounds, & 8 blocks. The Cavs also got good play from Jason Williams (20 points & 7 assists), Eric Williams (10 Points), Glen Rice (11 points), & Dan Dickau (8 points & 4 assists)

The Cavs will now go home for their home opener which will also be Lebron Vs. Carmelo: Round 1. As they host the Denver Nuggets.

James Takes Round 1 From Carmelo

Cleveland, OH - Lebron James was able to show the world why he was the number 1 pick in the draft and proved that all the hype was worth it. As he went for a career night last night in his first home game and took round 1 over Carmelo Anthony as the Cavs won 109-104.

The Cavs never trailed in this game and neither did James in the scoring column against Anthony. As James scored early and often on his was to 42 points, while Anthony didn't have a bad game himself as he put up 23 points.

But the Cavs proved to be too much for the Nuggets from the start and are able to improve to 4-0 to start the year.

The Nuggets were led by the 23 points, 6 rebounds, & 4 assists by Carmelo Anthony. While the Cavs were led by Lebron James who had 42 points, 7 rebounds, & 7 assists. The Cavs also had good games out of Jermaine O'Neal (20 points, 9 rebounds, & 13 blocks), Eric Williams (14 points), Jason Williams (14 points & 9 assists), Dan Dickau (10 points & 4 assists), & Carlos Boozer (9 points)

The Cavs will now once again hit the road and head to Indiana to take on the Pacers in what will be Jermaine O'Neal's return to Indiana since getting traded.

I Need Some Help:
Since I have been using Dickau lately and he has been doing good should I trade Jason Williams for a power forward and keep McInnis & Dickau as my two point guards? Or should I keep Williams around and have him share the minutes with Dickau & McInnis?

Small suggestion, what I like to do when I play with James is, move him to the PG position and get a good sg/sf, this way I have a big team, and James handles the ball pretty well.

I have used that in my last game against the Pacers and it worked pretty well, but I still would have to find somewhere to send Williams were I could get a big man or a two guard.

Cavs Hold Off Pacers In Overtime Thriller

Indiana - The Pacers and Cavs gave the fans quite a show in a match up that could very well be the Eastern Conference Finals, as in an overtime thriller the Cavs were able to edge out the Pacers 116-107 last night.

The Pacers got out to a great start behind 12 first quarter points from former Cav Zydrunas Ilgauskas. The Pacers controlled this game right from the start and never trailed until the overtime period and were never tied until the final play of the game.

The Cavs who struggled most of the game came alive again in the fourth quarter led once again by rookie Lebron James who put together a brillant all around game especially in the fourth as he put in 9 points in the final 12 minutes.

But the overtime period belong to long time NBA veteran Glen Rice who scored 10 big points in the overtime period including 2 three pointers that really put the game away for the Cavs. Who have now won their first 5 games of the season with four being on the road.

The Pacers were led by Zydrunas Ilgauskas who had a solid all around night with 30 points, 5 rebounds & 3 blocks. While former Pacer Jermanie O'Neal stole the show from Ilgauskas in his return to town with 34 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, & 3 blocks. The rookie James also put up great numbers that result in his first career triple double, as he had 30 points, 10 rebounds, & 12 assists. The Cavs also got good games from veteran Glen Rice who had 17 points & Eric Williams who had 10 points.

The Cavs will now return home were they will welcome Gilbert Arenas and the Washington Wizards to town.

Cavs Take Control Early And Beat Wizards

Cleveland, OH - The Cavs continued to keep their winning streak alive last night with an easy victory over the Washington Wizards last night.

The Cavs came out with a bang and ran off a early 14-0 run and never looked back as they were able to never trail in the game and win 110-96. The Cavs got a balance attack from their team with a great outburst from their bench. As the Cavs bench outscored the Wizards bench 40 to 6.

The Wizards only bright spot in the game was Gilbert Arenas who put up 30 points & 10 assists. The Cavs were led by rookie Lebron James who had his second straight triple double with 20 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists, & 5 blocks. Jermaine O'Neal also had a big night with 20 points, 15 rebounds, & 2 blocks. The Cavs also got good performences out of Jason Williams(19 points & 4 assists), Glen Rice(15 points), Dan Dickau(10 points & 3 assists), Wang Zhizhi(7 points, 4 assists, & 4 rebounds), and Eric Williams(9 points).

The Cavs will now remain in Cleveland and await Stephon Marbury & the New York Knicks to come to town.
