That was unexpected, but hopefully it comes to fruition. Much as I like the sim games, I've always liked NBA Jam for a change of pace. I thought EA did a great job with On Fire Edition, to the point where it rivals Tournament Edition and Hangtime as my favourite game in the series (and favourite arcade basketball game in general).

That wouldn't be such a terrible thing if it's an enhanced and updated version of OFE, but if they are going to at least make some small updates to the gameplay, I definitely agree that adding injuries is a must. Without that, there's really no incentive to make substitutions unless you feel like a change of pace or you've put together a duo that doesn't match up well with your opponent. The CPU notably never makes substitutions in the 2010 reboot or OFE, so I'd like to see them add that wrinkle in any new games that come out.
