NBA Jam: On Fire Edition "Best Duo" Discussion

so far I have a few in mind, and haven't really looked through the stats at all players/legends yet but i guess we could discuss the best type of team to counter each type also
Big Man Duos
Shaq & Howard (pretty unstoppable as long as there's no one with a 9 or 10 stl rating on the other team)
All Around Duos
Lebron & Wade
Iggy & Dr J
Drexler & Wallace (got annihilated by them online)
Magic & Kobe
Artest & Kobe (Artest as enforcer)
Nique & JSmith
JJohnson & Smith
PG/BigMan Duos
Payton & Kemp
CP3 & Mourning

Those are pretty good

I just use Ray Allen & KG, and when he gets unlocked, Bird & KG
Opinions are my own.

I've used the Shaq and Howard combo for a couple of the games in Road Trip, specifically the ones where dunks count for more points. With their strength and dunking ratings, it definitely helps since the CPU is better at blocking dunks this year.

Zo and LJ is a good combo as well, not to mention nostalgic.

earlier i got whooped on by a dude who played Bird & Allen to counter my big man lineup. he just buried threes all game.
shockingly i got destroyed by the Love & Person combo as he just bombed 3s or alley ooped it on me every time.

I was going for the Zo & LJ combo (one of my favorites from Jam: TE) but Johnson's stats seem to reflect more of his later years as a Knick as opposed to his earlier days so I like the Cp3 & Zo lineup since CP3 can dunk on an alley oop and his 10 stl rating is an asset. perhaps we could get a list going on hotspots for the top duos as well?

i would love to team up Pippen and Jordan or Barkley and Majerle/KJ in a future rendition of nba jam. those are my all time favorite duos to play in this 2 on 2 basketball game.

Majerle and KJ are both in On Fire Edition, so that's possible already.

Payton & Kemp =

Also been running with Obama/Clinton & Isaac Security/Faith after getting some of the special teams.

has anybody seen the stats on the NBA street team? i'm currently saving up for them. unfortunately, I wasted money on one of the Roswell alien characters. i bought him for the Clippers thinking it would help but even Mo Williams was still better than him.

they seem to be worth all the money. the skeleton crew team doesn't look like they are worth it though

Correct. He doesn't seem that keen to appear in any games, 2K weren't able to secure his likeness rights which hurt their decision to go with the '85 Sixers for Dr J's NBA's Greatest game in NBA 2K12.

Prior to the roster update, these guys were my go-to team playing random strangers online:

CP3 & Mourning
