In the lighter side of the news, EA Sports have posted an article noting that the last five NBA Live cover players have come from the conference that has been victorious in each of the last five All-Star Games while suggesting that Kevin Durant - the cover player for NBA Elite 11 and "de facto NBA Jam frontman" - will continue the trend and may be the first player to take home All-Star MVP honours the same year as appearing on the cover. The article is obviously promoting NBA Jam's presence at Jam Session during All-Star Weekend, where various giveaways including another NBA Jam Arcade Cabinet will be on offer.
