Will there be a multi-player dynasty mode?

This is probably the most asked question in relation to this game. College Hoops 2k8 had it as did previous college basketball titles, yet EA has not come on board. Word leaking from unconfirmed sources is as with Live 2010 that there will not be any online or multiplayer dynasty.

If this is true, it seems an astoundingly bad marketing move. This game is clearly targeted at male college students aged 18-25. If they did any sort of market research or conducted focus sessions, I could assure you that male students in dorms want to play multiplayer dynasties with their roommates & friends. I'd go as far as saying that they'd choose a slightly worse game with multiplayer options than a better game with none.

Whilst not having multiplayer dynasty doesn't affect me at all, I can see why everybody else would want it. I can understand EA passing on an online dynasty mode for a title that doesn't sell a lot, but not introducing multiplayer mode seemed the epitomy of stupidity. Let's hope that these unconfirmed sources are wrong.
