since my 360 is being shipped out and i can't play 2k8 which game do u think i should get? stick with 07 that i have now or get 08? which one has more gameplay patches and which one is better overall? any opinions are welcome!

08 is more organized, but I prefer playing 07.
Mainly because it has all the cool dunks and stuff.
08 is really for people who want more realistic gameplay. But then of course there is SUM for NBA Live 07, so I would stick to 07 because there are a lot of great patches.
But then of course, it is your choice.

I'd recommend NBA Live 06 over either of them, but out of those two I'd say NBA Live 07.

how can 06 be better when all u need is a highflyer superstart and u can win the championship?
Sun May 18, 2008 4:33 am
because if you aren't a whore and abuse elements of the game 06 can be a damn good game

did u forget about the CPU they can use it too, u can't force them not to use it
Sun May 18, 2008 7:54 am
um, yes you can, very easily. either by dbf editing or by removing the moves from FSS movesets in the aiact.
I am pretty sure there are patches released that do just that.
Sun May 18, 2008 8:44 am
can u please direct me to one of those patches
Sun May 18, 2008 11:02 am
easiest way to see if you will actually like it is to goto the change FSS type screen for 2 different teams and disable all FSS abilities for those teams, if you enjoy it then ill go ahead and make the patch.
Sun May 18, 2008 12:20 pm
how do i disable them?
Sun May 18, 2008 1:02 pm
roster management, select freestyle superstar type, then anything that says enabled just click it and it will be disabled.
Mon May 19, 2008 1:18 am
ok ill try it, can u do this in 07 also?
Mon May 19, 2008 2:37 am
07 you have to do dbf or aiact methods

NBA Live 06's FSS does give the user the option of a (generally) guaranteed basket though, which is handy to have when the comeback logic gets a bit nasty. In that situation you could always disable FSS for all the CPU controlled teams and leave them enabled for the team you control, limiting their usage to desperate situations.
