EA Zip

I downloaded EA Zip from nba-live.com and when I tried to open it, my antivirus told that it found a trojan into the file rfstool.exe. Is this possible?

It's possible that you computer is already infected with a trojan and the trojan infected rfshtool when you tried to run it or infected it when you extracted it.

The rfshtool available on this site has no virus in it. It was uploaded 4 years ago and we would have known if it had a trojan.

It's also possible that you have an overprotective antivirus program. Most of them now use advanced heuristics to potentially find new and unknown viruses.

Besides, rfshtool is a very old program and you don't even need it unless you are going to edit one of the older games. For 2005 and later, use FSHx, fshline or wDolffin to edit fsh files.

avast home edition...

Pdub - thanks for the advice. I'm doing a full scan of my PC right now and if you're right after getting rid of all viruses everything should be fine with EA Zip.

Concretely, I want to create a .viv file. Maybe I'm blind, but I can't see this option in EA Graph...

Use the import wizard, and choose create a new TAR archive.
