TransEra Basketball Association

Postby Kenny on Sat Apr 19, 2008 12:15 pm

Being the nostalgic type in combination of being unbelievably bored, I decided to make a league for myself in NBA Live 06 called the TransEra Basketball Association. It consists of 6 teams:

50s All-stars
60s All-stars
70s All-stars
80s All-stars
90s All-stars
Western All-stars.

All the teams will play each other twice, with myself controlling every team for half their games. For example, the first game for 80s Vs 90s, I controlled the 90s team, but for the next game, I'll control the 80s.

The game is played on Superstar with 5 minute quarters. The 50s-70s all-stars don't play with a 3 point line at their home court, but the 80s, 90s and Western All-stars do. Since every team should play an equal amount of games on both courts, this shouldn't prove to be too big of a loophole.

Every game, I choose 3 players from both teams who I believe were the best from their side. For the winning side, it's a point system of 6-4-2, with the best player getting 6 points, while the losing side gets a point system of 3-2-1. As well as this, an MVP will be award by the computer as per usual.

The best two teams at the end of the season will progress to the final playoff round which will be decided in 3 games. If the 3rd game is needed, a computer simulation or something along those lines will be organised for the 3rd game.

Results to the games will be posted up here.
