NBA Live 2005 cameras bad for me! What about NBA 07?

Postby Marg on Fri Apr 11, 2008 7:08 am

Hello, community. I have NBA Live 2005. I was surprised to see that "follow" camera as it was in good old NBA Live 2000, has disappeared. The more I surprised that nobody seems crying because of bad cameras in live series.
I cannot seem to find any suitable camera for me.
"Baseline high" camera is the closest one, but 1) it flips around when opponent team gets the ball, which is very annoying. I would prefer my basket stay on the bottom of the screen all the time.
2) This camera shows OK until my player with the ball crosses center line. Then it stops following player, moving just a little bit further, so camera is not "high" anymore, viewing angle is too low, visibility is bad.
Side cameras I find impossible to play.
So the game is ruined for me.

I prefer Press box. Push the zoom slider five-six steps up and switch off autozoom. That's how I play.

Hm, press box camera - I can`t imagine how anyone can play with that, i tried - no, side view is only good for TV style replays...
But this annoying baseline camera flip - that`s a nightmare! There is nothing like that in NHL series.
Question - what are cameras in NBA Live 07 like? Are they the same as in NBA Live 2005? Maybe there appeared better cameras?

The cameras are pretty much the same in NBA Live 07. At the very least, I don't think you'll find a better angle compared to the cameras in NBA Live 2005.

NBA LIVE 07 only has 4 cams,
PRESS BOX
BASELINE LOW
BASELINE MID
BASELINE HIGH

I hate the baseline cams because they follow your players from behind.

Press Box seems to be the most decent.

It's probably been the most popular camera angle year-to-year as well, since most people (myself included) tend to prefer to play the game from a TV style angle in addition to using it for instant replays.
