Although as a community we've tried to address a lot of the issues with NBA Live 08 PC, there's some issues we haven't been able to resolve. NBA Live 2005 and NBA Live 06 are still fairly popular and there's a lot of great community made patches (and an official fix) for NBA Live 07. If you're not keen on the Freestyle Superstars concept, I'd suggest either NBA Live 2005 (no FSS) or NBA Live 06 (FSS can be disabled without editing player ratings).
