download a version of his mod from his site (see first post), then place the files in the main folder (ie NBA LIVE 2005 folder) then when starting the game you should see some green text in the upper left. Then start the a 5v5 game or something and press shift+F12 at the same time.

Here is a version I "finished" making for Live.

http://s74.photobucket.com/albums/i250/ ... %20Series/

By "finished" it means I am done tweaking it tonight and will probably play the game with it instead of constantly tweaking it for the time being. 08 and 2005 before and after shots were included in that photobucket album.

You guys want to try it? I dont know if it will work on all cards even since I used the version created for Shader 3.0 video cards. Ill make a new version that I know for sure will work with the older cards tomorrow or when I get a chance. So yea, if there is interest I will post it.

There you guys go. Be sure to turn brightness all the way down (i did that for the 2005 screenshots but not for the 08 screens which was at default brightness)

I also included a modified Flatout2 version which I just pasted my values in, I havent tested it yet.

REMEMBER, I DID NOT MAKE THIS, only tweaked it.

... When you create a player with a ‘THICK’ build and place him on either the Bobcats or Thunder, the game will crash when entering the game.

That being said, we only have 5 existing players in the league who are ‘THICK’ builds:

Glen Davis
Shaquille O’Neal
Eddy Curry
Jerome James
Michael Sweetney

Workaround: Don’t put a ‘THICK’ build created player OR one of the above players on the Bobcats or Thunder and the game won’t crash.

Well~I got it to work~but it consumes resources like a mother f**ker~After pressing Shift+F12~It looks nice but only 1-3 frames per sec, b4 that~it was 100+ FPS  ~so basically it's not playable for me~hehe~but it does look nice.
BTW~my graphic card is ATI X1700

Did you try running the other version? I included two in the download, the first one will rape your computer, the other one might be a little more friendly and buy your computer dinner and a movie first.

njkobe, you can improve your framerate by turning off some of the features that don't work with NBA Live. After you press SHIFT F12, press SHIFT F11, SHIFT F8, and SHIFT F7. If you are still having framerate problems, press SHIFT F10. The only thing that should be on after that is bloom and your framerate should be playable.

I messed about with it on 05 and 08 for about half an hour. Got some results. Will post when I have time.

Which ones should I post first? 08 or 05?

Then again, I could afford a shiny new 8800GT but I'd rather continue saving up for an exploding Australian X360 ;)

DOUBLE POST.

I've uploaded a pack of high-res screenies showing Jao's tweaked ENB in action-it's 14mb but should give most people an indication.

For 05, I'm using standard lighting and switch between 50 and 0 brightness.

In 08, I'm using something like 60 brightness with Kris's lighting.

Just try it, that is the only way to know.

I had playable results in 05 (~25fps) when using it on my AMD64 3000+ 2gig x800gt with every mod on (water, reflections, shadows, shit that doesnt work in this game but destroys frame rate)

It is only 2 files (or 2 files and 2 folders) and if it doesnt work you just delete them, no overwriting of anything so you dont need to worry about backing up. And the download is only 100kb or so.

Jon, Yea I know, I stopped going to school and am working now so i may as well keep entertained before I have to worry about mortgages, kids, and other shit. Car's paid off and my other bills are paid after 2 paychecks for the month so yea, live it up!.....with a new computer, w00t!
