What do you use on editing videos, Jao?

Fraps to record, Windows Movie Maker to edit. Actually for "This is How I play...." I used some professional program that was on my roommate's computer. WMM is just easier though and I dont like messing with the different codecs for avi videos. wmv is just nice and simple. Smaller file size and decent quality.
BTW I changed the link for the new 2003 video I made yesterday to the High Res and in sync gametrailers.com version.

Jao, I've finished compiling a rather short Live 05 mix, I'm making a more serious one with music and proper editing. But I suck at Vegas, and I don't know which render to use.

first things first, add music.

also when recording with fraps, its smarter to record with the "slo-mo" feature of replay instead of just "play". Then in the video editor you just speed up the clip.

also find out the keyboard or controller shortcuts so you can keep the replay bar minimized.

and finally for bonus points try syncing up the video and plays to the music


overall you had some really good plays, just kinda meh on the capture and the audio.

go do that to add some music, and well, as for the video, dont record using the play function, record with the slo-mo option in live and speed up the clips in WMM.

what's with all the weird layups and one handed shots? I dont know which aiact i have for 2004 but it def doesnt play like that.


also how did you get it to play videos with the replay bar minimized?

Well, I usually put together a video of plays that don't happen that often plus the best plays. I've used probably all the available aiacts on this one since I saved the best plays during a two month span last spring. And the replay bar... I rewinded whole the way back of the replay, clicked play and then quickly the hide button while already recording with fraps.

And sorry if that has been asked before, but what program do you use to edit you clips?

That was actually my first one trying my new editing software, Sony Vegas 7. Most of the time I've used Pinnacle software, tried Adobe Premiere, but Sony Vegas is my definite favourite.
