How do i go about puting downloads to my game do i insert it inside the hardrive or what?

You can't download patches to the PS2 version.

Step by step:

You download the patches.

Burn the patches in a DVD.

Insert the DVD in your PS2.

Wait a few minutes.

If nothing happens, hit or forcefully tap your PS2 a little bit to freshen it up.

Wait a few minutes again.

If still nothing happens, hit your PS2 again more forcefully this time.

Hit it again just to be sure.

If still nothing happens, enter override mode. The override mode can be opened with a code. The code is entered with the use of your PS2 controller. The code is, press UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT L1 R1 SELECT START on your controller. Repeat the same process on the controller attached to port 2.

If still nothing happens, hit your PS2 again to be sure that the console can accept the code, Enter the code again.

Hit it again just to be on the safe side.

If still nothing happens, your DVD may be scratched.
