Yeah, yeah - it's too early to tell and both the Pistons & Spurs are looking good. But time to plan ahead nonetheless. If the finals go this way ...

EA: Revive this illin' franchise and take back the crown because the rest are upstarts.

Supposedly the PC versions of NBA Live have retained some code from the Celtics vs Lakers days, which if true means the original series lives on in a sense.

Original code? I remember playing that game with my keyboard on a 286 with a one color (orange-mono) monitor. If they've still got old code in there - no wonder it's gotten so kludgy over the years.

It could be just a rumour and obviously a lot of stuff has changed since then, but it's interesting trivia if true.
