You can't get updates that are as detailed as the unofficial PC updates but if you have a device such as a Sharkport or Action Replay, you can transfer PS2 memory card saves to a PC effectively enabling people to update the PS2 rosters and then share the save file online. Such updates tend to be rare however, I haven't seen any posted for a long time.
