Do I Need an external Hard Drive for my PS2 in oder for max drive to work? I want to download NBA Live Rosters and I also want to know if I have the disc can I use a regular flash drive?

nope, when i bought my max drive it came bundled with a USB flash drive in it. You can use any flash drive though as long as you have the max-drive or action replay disc to transfer to save game off the flash drive to the memory card.
