just a silver account, its free, they'll give you a month of gold for free if you decline to pay for gold when it asks

same thing should work with windows 7, http://windows7forums.com/windows-7-net ... -live.html
Opinions are my own.

From the impressions I've seen so far it seems that the demo isn't going to sway a lot of people, though as I've mentioned elsewhere I'm feeling much more positive about it than a lot of people and frankly was expecting much worse based on some of the posts. I'll have a write-up out at some point today.

well after live 10, i was gonna go with elite. after trying the demo, i might try to go without a basketball game this year (although i will probably fail). elite isnt as big of an improvement on live 10 as i wouldve liked. plus if i wait another month, Gran Turismo 5 will take all of my free time away.

btw, i dunno why everyone is dissing the camera angle. i actually like the baseline angle and ive played it that way for the majority of the last decade. once upon a time, people actually liked playing it that way (live 2005 and 06... even sony copied it in their nba games)
i already know im not watching a real nba game, i don't really need the broadcast angle.

I've always been a fan of the broadcast type angles myself. For me it adds to the overall experience but the baseline high angle is certainly functional for gameplay, I'll definitely give it that.

After trying both the demos i really felt bad about elite this year some shooting animations were bad and CPU players doing silly things like Bynum standing at the center of the court and both of his arms are spread wide(He's doing the T formation if you know what i mean), but i do like the dribbling animations from players.

I think this Year ill only be getting NBA 2K11 :(

I find the broadcast camera good too, but for modes like Become Legendary, I'd rather use the Baseline High/Low, as a PG, I need to see where my teammates are.

I still found Broadcast to be OK for Become Legendary, might check out the other angles to see what they're like though.

I agree. I actually found Broadcast cam to be the optimum camera angle for Become Legendary

Gotta get both, if the prices of the games are affordable to me, especially the price for PS3.

If your PC can run 2K11, that would help out cost-wise if you're planning to get both. You'd also benefit from the 2K patching community that's sprung up over the last couple of years.

I played 2 quarters of 2K11 on my buddy's PS3. It was alright. Need to play a full game to really have better impressions. I didn't score with anyone except Kobe. Fish wasn't hitting anything, Artest kept getting rejected. And Gasol's passes were being intercepted. :)

I won both quarters though. One was like 12-8 and another was 11-10.

Sit, 2k11 will be what it is, which is slightly better than 2k10. A slightly better 2k10 plus added polish plus MJ plus deeper Association mode.

It did feel like 2k10... I still prefer to play 2k9. :)

I prefer 2k9 over 2k10 too. Wish I had never got 2k10 to tell you the truth. I'll be glad to trade it in this week :P

Well, I'll be getting both of them...eventually. And NBA Jam. But with NBA Elite 11's delay with no word on the release date as yet, it's not an option come October 5th.

I agree with that too  Series went downhill after 2k7. I blame lack of competition (N)
