Big NBA Jam announcement coming this week

For the last month, there hasn't been anything in the way of news or previews for EA Sports NBA Jam. However, the following update was posted today on the official NBA Jam Facebook page:

Hey JAM fans, we’ve been pretty quiet of late because we're working on something BIG for all of you. Stay tuned for an announcement later this week!

Anyone care to speculate? I'm guessing it's either related to the legends that will appear in the game or details on Jam's equivalent to Dynasty Mode, which is yet to be talked about in detail.

I will speculate that it will be available for more platforms. Maybe classic JAM rosters can be used. Could be a contest to get an early copy.

Yeah, could definitely be a contest. Classic rosters might be hard to achieve given the licensing roadblocks but if they've got legends in there maybe it's a possibility. Would love to get confirmation of an XBLA release though.
