Player lock thing.

is a any player lock thing in 08? I remember in 07 it was but i don't find that in 08.

No, EA Sports took out that feature for 08.

There is a download that restores it, you can find it in the downloads section for NBA Live 08.

It should be noted that the Player Lock function that is accessed through the unofficial fix doesn't work perfectly but if you're a fan of that feature I'd suggest at least trying the fix and seeing what you think.

It works good. Only 1 thing sucks. If im c, pf or whatever, computer pass the ball on the inbounds to me not to pg.

Yeah, but that happens with the REAL player lock thing too.

EA needs to fix that.

This works in 08 exactly as Player Lock worked in 07. The same problems existed with losing lock, and with having to call for the ball because the AI player won't inbounds on its own.

That's what I meant, which is to say it doesn't work exactly how fans of the feature would like it to work. It's certainly preferable to going without the feature though.

Player Lock? It allows you to control a single player instead of switching control between all five players on your team.

hey guys,i found something really weird.i did use the player lock function in a game(SG),but as the game went on,i found it automatically switched to PG,and later,it switched to no player locker mode.

anyone had this problem as well?

I'm pretty sure that's one of the existing issues with Player Lock but as I'm not a frequent user of the option someone who uses it more often can shed more light on that.
