As usual I've used the latest NBA Live with the most up to date NLSC roster patch to simulate the NBA Playoffs. I have to say that this year's results aren't too bad at all save for a couple of series that are likely to be more competitive and an injury most of us certainly wouldn't want to see. For all those interested, check out the
Features section for the
NBA Live 07 Playoffs Sim article.

Very interesting. Followed very similarly to my bracket I entered into a competition, except the was less sweeping in the early rounds.
While the expectation by many is that this years playoffs won't be as exciting as last years, I actually think they will be interesting, especially out West where the matchups are intriguing. I think the East will pick up in the second round too. Lets just see if your Bulls are there Andrew
I know my Bucks weren't even close this year, which is good in a way, cause getting spanked by Detroit last year wasn't that enjoyable.

What are those people thinking.
I agree with Ty, the matchups are very interesting to say the least, and that's just the Eastern Conference.
Andrew must have been disappointed when his Bulls lost in the simulation.

Just read your playoffs sim Andrew but i like the Bulls to win in the first series because i hate the defending champs the Heat because they defeated my team Dallas. Hehe nice simulation their, Dallas winning that's great

Disappointed but not entirely surprised.

I was a little surprised by the results in general though as I was kind of expecting most of the favourites to get upset and end up with a Rockets/Nets Finals series, which I guess
could happen but seems unlikely.

Rockets - Nets
Wow, I would pay some money to see that happen, would be good.

Pretty good, looks like the Heat may lose and the Raptors may lose in the first round in the East. Three sweeps in the West in the first, nice!

@ Nuggets getting swept
Fri Apr 27, 2007 10:40 pm
I didn't expect there'd be that many sweeps. As it stands there won't be any sweeps in the West since Utah and LA won today.

The Pistons will probably sweep, unless they get lazy.

toronto over new jersey 4-2, dont like the sound of that, if the raptors win it wont be that easy
Sat Apr 28, 2007 9:00 pm
eh New Jersey will win in real life they have an edge at SF, SG, PG

what happened to golden state

?

Terrible sim due to the fact that it has the Lakers getting swept.

It's okey for me because it's just a sim to me

It was pretty generous with the sweeps. As I said it's already been proven wrong there since there won't be a single sweep in the first round in the West.

They're certainly proving a lot of people wrong, let alone the sim.
