How to add new portraits

I tried looking for a tutorial on how to create player portraits and adding them to the game but couldn't find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks andrew, didn't even notice the link to the wiki in the upper corner (tried the search). So if I understood it correctly, you can't just add a portrait to a created player unless you create a cyberface for him as well. Right?

I think a couple of games in the series have allowed it by leaving the ISCREATED attribute to True but generally speaking yes, you need to have a cyberface file as well.

I can't remember offhand, sorry. By all means give it a try, if it doesn't work then you can just undo the changes by changing the database values back or restoring from a backup.

Just tried it, doesn't work without a cyberface for Live07. Thanks anyway for the quick reply. (Y)

Correct. If you need a temporary placeholder face, you could use one of the generic face files from the sgsm\players folder (they're the ones used for generated rookies; open them up with FshX to see what they look like).
