Player always drops or loses ball during a lay up or dunk

I'm new to NBA Live so bear with me folks. It seems that every time I
make a move to the basket for a dunk or lay up the player either drops
or loses the ball to a defender. This only seems to happen in a crowd of
defenders under or very near the basket. Unopposed dunks and layups
work correctly every time. I have searched thru many of the categories
to see if anyone else has had this problem, but have been unable to find
anything that helps. I thank you in advance, and greatly appreciate any
help that is provided.

did you make your foul frequency sliders 0? If so bring them back up to about 5, that should resolve that issue.

Thank you for the tip JaoSming, I did have the foul related sliders set to zero.
I bumped them up to 5 as you suggested and that did the trick. I really appreciate

Sometimes i go on a fast break and blow a dunk
so most of the time go for a lay up
