There was an issue with the Detroit Pistons court patch included in the initial release of v3.8 of the roster update. Download this fix to remove the problematic files from your sgsm folder; a fixed version of the roster with those files already removed has also been uploaded.

Firstly, thanks for the update Andrew. Not a huge gamer, and any gaming I do is on a really old PC, not sure any later versions of Live would actually run on it. Without your updates I probably wouldn't be playing at all.
More importantly though, I did a full re-install with the new update but I am having some problems since. I have had some random crashing problems, when starting games (in either dynasty or play now modes), after loading as normal it just crashes and returns to the desktop. Its hard to get a handle on as it appears infrequent. Have you (or anyone else) heard of anyone experiencing similar issues? I heard about the Detroit court issue, but games I tried to play have not included Pistons. Could it perhaps be a compatibility issue with other patches? (realshoe patch etc)

Since reinstalling, the gameplay has obviously returned to the original, terrible gameplay (ie: players dropping the ball cold whenever driving to the hoop for lay in or dunk). I had updated this to be a more playable version, but I can't remember the patch that fixed this. Can anyone help, recommend a patch, or am I just going crazy?

It certainly could be a compatibility issue but NBA Live 07 has a known random crashing issue for which the only fix we've ever found is to keep reinstalling the game until it stops happening. Unfortunately the issue was never addressed, it's not among the problems resolved by the official patch.

as you can see on the paint file ANDREW the color of each jersey for MIAMI's away jersey and alternate away jersey is too faded...the alternate away jersey is more like of an old roe color rather than red and the black away jersey is like a fade black color...can you make it more of like a shiny black and red colored jersey ...but everythings great on the new roster patch...awesome work ANDREW!!!

Here are a couple of fixes for v3.8 of the rosters. I've also re-uploaded fixed versions so if you download them from now on, everything should be fine.

No -> the NLSC 07 exists with NBA Live 07 AND NOT the NLSC 08 with NBA Live 07 (...nor the NLSC 07 with NBA Live 08)...

Andrew, first of all i must thank you 4 the great job you have done 4 the roster patch. You make us fell proud.
There are some things i would change 4 the next time so here is my feedback
1. The faces of Evan Turner and John Wall are not similar to their real faces.
2. Can you put Pete Mickeal from Regal Barcelona in the roster patch as a free agent like you have done with Ricky Rubio? I will be very thankful.

I don't make face patches, so I can't do anything about that until the talented face patchers in our community provide me with some new updates. As far as putting pete Mickeal in there, sorry but I'll have to say no. Rubio is in there because I created all the draftees from that season and left him in the database in the Retired Pool.

A new roster update is out, accurate as of February 17th 2011 including updated All-Star and Rookie Challenge teams. No updated All-Star art as yet, I'll include those updates in future releases as soon as they're made available to me.

As I mentioned on Friday, I was hoping to get new roster updates for NBA Live 2005 through NBA Live 08 out as early as this weekend. The bulk of the updates are more or less done, however there are still a few unconfirmed jersey numbers for players who were traded at the deadline and talk of a few players that are expected to be waived/signed in the near future. As such, I would prefer to wait at least a couple of days so that I don't have to quickly release a new or repackaged version when that uncertainty is cleared up.

In any case, I anticipate having the rosters out this week; I can't say when exactly but hopefully that info will be made available within the next couple of days which will allow me to finish up the updates and get them out. I thank everyone for their patience and hope you understand that this slight delay is in the name of accuracy. Finally, since a couple of people are working on the All-Star jerseys and court, there's a chance I might be able to include them in the next release; if not, they'll be included as soon as possible.
