The NLW has made playing Live 06 online enjoyable again. We are in year 3 of our dyansty and we have openings. If you want to be an NLW GM there some things you should know.
- You have to live in the United States or Canada.
- You have to be 17 years old or older
- You have to have a Broadband internet connection.
- You have to have the ability to play 5-6 games per week.
Note: The NLW isn't for the Casual NBA Live player or EASO baller. The NLW is for guys who want the total package of being in an online league. Trading, Free Agency, Drafting, Training, and the list goes on. The NLW isn't an easy league, and wasn't designed to be that way. But our league allows for its members to experience the ups and downs on controlling an NBA team.
If you join the NLW here are some of the things you have to deal with:
- YOU HAVE A PAYROLL BUDGET YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW.
Outside of the salary system the NLW uses, each team has a payroll budget that they have to keep to. The budget differs from team to team, and changes from year to year based on what success the team had. Your budget may force you to make hard cuts and trades to your team, but thats the pitfall you may fall into.
- KEEPING YOUR TEAM HAPPY
Gone are the days of jacking up 30-40 shots with a player while frezzing out the other players on your team. In the NLW the players have mood ratings (think Madden), if a player doesn't recieve the minutes or touches a player of his level should get then his mood will worsen. As it gtes worse you will notice his ratings and play getting worse.
- IMPROVE YOU YOUNG TALENT
In the NLW, players progress and regress and diferent rates depending on the season they have. You have the ability to play these players and improve them, or you can be Larry Brown and sit them on the bench and only play veterns. Its up to you. You can send them down to the NLW's version of the NBDL. Or let them go overseas for training. The NLW uses a rating system that affect each players ratings based on the season they had.
There is so much to the NLW it takes about a full season to learn all the in's and out's of the league.
