Can you upload a "shot display" screenshot from one of your game?
I mean, the opponent team's shot display.

Once again I'm asking for some feed back on these Andrew sliders. I'm reading a lot of hype on this guy. Is his sliders really that good?

These will be my sliders untill now......these are an updated version of my other sliders in this topic. I changed them based on my stats and the opponent stats untill now.

8 minutes /superstar

Game Speed: 40
Free Throw Difficulty: 50 - 70 depending on your own skillz.
Boundary Force Field: 90
Injury Frequency: 50
Fatigue Effect: 42-46.....not too high because the game won't be as realistic...example kobe can't make shots after 6 minutes of play.
Charge/Block Foul Frequency: 80 .....there are too many easy charges in this years game in online play it is pretty easy to take charges , so for online i guess it would be 90.>>>Update
Shooting Foul Frequency: 10
Reach-in Foul Frequency: 10
In-air Collision Foul Frequency: 50

Shaft ur settings r pretty good im using ur basic idea and modifying it slightly but can u explain the charge/block foul frequency? You say that taking charges is easy why would it be up til 90 and can u also explain the boundary force field? Thanks for taking your time to upload ur settings to us.

ps i would upgrade the shot block on the dunk/layup to have better d played

I'm just feeling around too, but i think this is pretty close to how i like the game. it is realistic and still fun. I get annoyed at the out of bounds plays when i go up for a lay-up, but that seems to be a Bug or mistake in the game. Nothing will change that unless you take away the adjusted shot frequency or put that to 0, but i'm guessing that you just dunk on every play if that slider is down. Won't be realistic.
I asked about the force field myself. it's the degree of how easily a player will walk out of bounds or something like that. The player slows down a little when this slider is up.
The charge/ block foul frequency is put up to 80 or 90 , because you can easily force charges against other users and the cpu if this slider is down.(i'm not sure, but it has been better so far for me)

ps: i know my free throws suck, but i play lying down on my bed and i'm fucking up my free throws because of that. hehehe

Shaft, do u get a lot of charge calls against u when u play against cpu? Cause I dont really get any, but a decent amount of blocking fouls

What slider would I have to adjust to lower the high percentage fgs in my game and lower the turnovers?

No i can take charges pretty easily myself, so i put it up higher so i won't do it more often and when i do it will be a thing of accuracy and not whether or not i just push the button and i automatically get the charge. I don't take charges on midcourt or anything. Only in the paint. I don't know where you takethem. On midcourt or places away from the basket, the blocking foul is more often called, like in real life.


Lower these if you want lower field goal %

User/CPU Short Range Shooting
User/CPU Medium Range Shooting
User/CPU Long Range Shooting
User/CPU Dunk Percentage
User/CPU Lay-up Percentage

Lower the stealing and interception sliders sliders if you want less turnovers.

tried brad feet's sliders & i found the game almost unplayable....
But just tested SHAFT23's sliders & they're alot bettter! thanks for these! :D

With your settings i found it very hard to rebound & score, i was lucky to score 40 in a game , getting outscored by 50 points! I'm a very experienced player (been playing 'live' since the sega days) I cant really explain but SHAFT's sliders just seem to fit my style of play alot better.

I've only just tested SHAFT's sliders in a couple of games but so far they're great. Maybe after a few more games i'll adjust things a little but they seem like a very good starting point for me (Y)

I've only just tested SHAFT's sliders in a couple of games but so far they're great. Maybe after a few more games i'll adjust things a little but they seem like a very good starting point for me


I'm glad that they worked well for ya so far. You'll eventually have to change them to make the game a little more challenging. I find myself winning games pretty easily even when i am down 10 in the 3rd quarter. I win easily because of my steals and that i have 2 superstars on my Goldenstate team. Baron Davis is guarding the point and he is a stopper and Richardson is at the SG and he is a stopper also. That is why i win easily. But if you don't have the stoppers on your team it will be more difficult.

Ok from what I can see most think that shafts sliders are the best posted right now. I'm leaning toward using them also since he plays on the same level and time limit. I also saw that someone preferred Matts. A lot of you are waiting on Andrew to post his sliders but it seems he hasn't gotten a feel for the game yet. I also seen someone liked Matts. Who do you guys think has the best sliders posted so far. As a matter of fact how do we get a poll started? That would be great for people who don't won' to test out a lot of different sliders or are just visiting the site to get good sliders. We could set it up based on time limit and skill level. What do you guys think? And who could tell me how to set this up?

Pretty realistic result. Don't have a quick PG on my team, as you can see, opp PG score alot of points on me due to the fact that I collapse the lane whenever someone drive.

There are a few things I have noticed while playing with the current slider.

1. Run plays and ball movement actually help. I notice if you got a slow backcourts and you chunk up outside shot after 1-2 passes, the CPU team will run you out of the gym.

2. Pressure the PG. In Denver game, I place my guy on CPU PG as soon as he reaches halfcourt. Like in real game, you have to force the pg to give the ball up.

3. Back on defense. As soon as you took a shot, run back to DEFENSE !! That will prevent CPU starting fastbreak.

4. Dealing with offensive rebound. Consider I play 12 mins quarter, the offensive rebounds isn't too bad for either teams. Offensive rebound however usually comes from outisde shot that the cpu takes. What I do is that I will crash the defensive board with my backcourts, my sf, sg and pg have done a good job of keeping the CPU from getting any offensive board.

5. The end result is really based on how you play the CPU, I prefer to leave the CPU pg open because my pg is alot slower. But if you take a look at the Denver game, whenever CPU put out Boykin or Miller, I got quite a bit of offensive boards.

My style is play consists of utilizing my big SF, SG and PG to set up plays. I don't run and gun alot with this slow lineup so as a result you might have to adjust base what you prefer to do.

I'm beginning to find it pretty easy to come back in the games and win......eventhough i won by one against Miami. It is pretty surtain that i was gonna score with baron Davis at the end with 4.7 secs left. I used his superstar runner out of the time-out.

I will eventually make the sliders a bit more difficult for myself, but in a way that it remains realistic. The stats are pretty realistic, though and the off rebounds are about 1: 3 for the CPU and 1:2,5 for mine. i grab them a little better than the CPU. But it is better than 1:1

Note that i run more fast breaks now and my defense is getting better, but i also keep getting bumped on the break on Lay -ups and i get out of bounds called, so that is why some FG's are low. but it doesn't bother me that much now. i just swear and give the screen "the finger"and keep playing.
