when simulating a game.....

Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

when simulating a game.....

it would be cool if you could assign players to take certain amount of shots when you sim in a game in the dynasty mode. from my experience, in nba live 2005, when i sim a game, my center take almost the same amount of shots as my shooting guard does. this bugs me because my center's rating is 65 and my sg is 90. they both take around 12-15 shots a game.

I'd like that as well, the ability to interact with the simulation engine with some sort of gameplan/settings.

I'd be very surprised if they did - it's something that's easier said than done, and as we've seen they've been busy developing other elements of the game such as Freestyle Superstars (and hopefully some further improvements to the existing Dynasty Mode features).

this could actually make the players more consistent, if it works. As i have noticed, during simulation, individual stats are not consistent. An 80+ SG would have 20+ points one day, and the next day he has 5 points. These things do happen in real life, but not that often. This happens a lot in LIVE 2005 though.

i know, it happens to me almost all the time. one day my SG scors 45 points the next he shoots something live 5-17 frp, the field and scores 15 points.

Doesn't the "Primacy" rating control that?
NBA Live 2003 is the best game ever made.

It does, but problems generally arise if you have a couple of players with high primacy ratings. In real life, someone would have to sacrifice shots (eg Webber being traded to the Sixers this year) but NBA Live's simulation engine divides up the shots between the players more equally when two players have a high primacy rating.
