It's cool to me but I think Doug Collins would have been better. Either way I prefer TNT over ESPN so I am happy this year but when the ESPN stuff gets incorporated in I hope I can swallow that pill. I hope you can switch between the two (wishful thinking) but who knows if they continue the All Star Week End on TNT.
I would have been happy with Kerr or Collins replacing Fratello on the virtual press row. I enjoy Kerr's commentary and columns, so I've got no complaints.
Hasn't EA signed the deal with ESPN? I'm hoping they don't end up having Bill Walton.... but then again, it'd be funny to have a Stephen A Smith cyberface and see him screamin at half time about how great or how crap so-n-so is.
They've signed a deal, but they'll officially enter the partnership next year meaning that any ESPN content won't be in the game until NBA Live 2007 at the earliest.
Yes i like steve kerr as well. I found fratello a little annoying, but he was not bad. Doug Collins or Hubie Brown would've been better, but Kerr is pretty good.
Hubie Brown's ABC though, he wouldn't be paired with Marv. It would be cool if EA could have TNT, ABC and ESPN signed up to appear in NBA Live, though I'm not sure it's feasible. There'd be able to include logos but I'm not sure about having three seperate commentary tracks.
For the nextgen consolles it is feasible and it would be verry nice to have allso the little sportsprograms in it like if you play in houston you get rockets tv or something...hope yall understand
hubie brown and bill walton are on my horrible commentator list
hubie brown is so annoying to listen to because he feels the need to speak every second hes on the air, and he over explains everything. bill walton is just plain annoying, with his exaggerated voices and stupid sayings. he tries to nickname everything he sees
Posts keep posters happy. Happy posters mean good posts.
no they don't. I personally hate barkley. He thinks that he is the king of the world, and knows everything about basketball. He's comments are obvious, anybody who's played basketball once, or watched basketball would make the same comments or better ones. He's there for the comic relief. He's pretty funny though.
