You're the one who started it, insulting Nintendo for no reason. That is ignorance. Substandard according to your rationale, while Nintendo's CPU and GPU are far superior to he Sony PS2. And I'm guessing we're just supposed to accept your fact-less, base-less rationale? Are we supposed to sit and accept some absolute rule? Aren't you the one who said that you didn't believe in God because most religion is being forced upon? Isn't your view of the PS2 basically forced upon by the mass media, or by your peers? As you said "Why couldn't they branch out and teach about other religions...or even teach people that there is a legit possibility that God doesn't exist... they don't, the whole system is wrong." Using that logic, why don't you learn about the other consoles, or see that there are other consoles, and that some people prefer other consoles. You don't, ergo, you are wrong. (Using your own logic here.) Unless, you do believe in absolutes, which by the way you were talking about the God topic, you seemed to have not. Why the hell am I using this old topic to say my argument? Well, one it fits well, and two I just happened to have read it for no reason before posting here -_-;;. So anyhow...just accept the fact that some people like Nintendo and some people really hate Sony and XBox and no one is wrong for liking any of the three systems...Unless you want to say "Christianity is the only way", "Islam is the only way" or "Buddhism is the only way", which didn't seem to be your point in that thread.

I stopped reading half way through, I think you're kidding yourself, because you're assuming that I can't accept the fact that some people like Nintendo, some like SONY etc... you expressed your opinion that you like Nintendo, I expressed my opinion that I disliked Nintendo... you then called me ignorant for having an opposing opinion to yours. THAT is ignorance.

It's got nothing to do with tolerating other consoles. I owned all Nintendo consoles up until the GameCube, you really shot yourself in the foot there. Repeatedly.

I got an Xbox and it was just too good to swap... I played GameCube a few times at a friends house but it felt like I was using some little kids toy or something, plus exclusive games like Zelda or whatever don't really appeal to me. I had a NES, SNES, Gameboy, N64 though so it's not as if I didn't give Nintendo a shot. I'd still take a SNES over a Megadrive any day.

metroid prime's cool and thats an exclusive game. the only thing taht sucks is prime 2 is only compatible with 60hz tvs which i dont have. and none of the non-exclusive games are ever released on gc anyway. about 2 weeks after live 05 came out i went to eb to see if i could get it on gc, and it was discontinued already , but then i got it for pc and six months later i found this place and learnt how to patch, so it worked out ok in hte end.

Well I personally love Mario, Zelda, Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Tennis, Resident Evil 4 and Metroid Prime 1 and 2 above all the other games. I think Metroid Prime 1 and 2 and Resident Evil 4 are all in my top 10 games ever list. Also, I never had problems with my NBA Live 2005...maybe it's cuz I always set it to fully zoomed out. Around 70~80% of my games are Nintendo.

No, I called you ignorant because you said "Your life be filled with many regrets." Look, I never had any regrets buying my GameCube and neither did probably that person who wrote it. By writing that you are assuming that Nintendo is inferior to the other systems. I don't care if you like Sony or Nintendo, I am just saying that I don't like it when people call my system the worst system or whatever. I've been bashed about buying a GameCube for ages, and it seems that usually the people who do that never really played anything from the GameCube (coming from my experience). I am NOT saying Nintendo GameCube is the best system. I never said that, I'm just saying that it isn't inferior in any way and it's basically a matter of opinion, gaming preference. You see, you gotta read the whole thing.

I'll save up for a PS3 (time to hop back on the Sony bandwagon, and i do own a gamecube), and buy Live 07 for PS3 and some how get it on PC as well

Andrew, is it possible for you to make the patches/updates on the PS2/Xbox version, like you do for PC? Faces/new coaches/rosters?

A little off-topic there, but no, it's not. I don't have an Xbox and while I do usually get the PS2 version I don't have the hardware (or the time, really) to make updates for the PS2. There is no way to patch the graphics for the console versions as far as I'm aware.

ok, sorry for going off topic, just figured I'd throw it in there, since we're talking about all versions of Live... Would be really nice if you could do that though, I've looked at the patch screenshots for PC, and look good, unfortunately I don't play PC versions of games.

Yep, I'm have to wait for it on XBox 360, them graphics are just too damn good to not wait for. Cuz just think, if you was to buy Madden, Live, NCAA, and March Madness that's $216 and the XBox360 cost 300 or 400 I forgot. That's half the price of the game system. But, I might just rent them to test them out. Unless you a ballin to spend money like that to buy the same game for 2 system.
