It's possible . It's just different fields in the players.dbf that need changing.

This way people could use it with anyones rosters, and their dynasties, etc

I have a question. Won't this patch affect the commentary in the game? I mean, the game is programmed to say things like "oh, look at that one handed slam by davis." But like, if it's a 2 handed dunk, and there is no 1 handed dunk, then it'll be unrealistic because marv will be saying the wrong thing. I don't know if it's gonna be like that or not, but I'm just asking cuz it would be kinda weird.

No. As lilvc has said several times, be patient. It will be released when it's done and ready, and not a moment sooner...

Dunks from previous versions of Live cannot be added
Technically, there are NO new dunks added. Some dunks were included in the mo-cap, but just not used in the game. These dunks are not created by the author of this patch.
You cannot add moves that did not already exist in the game, i.e. VC's 360 layup.
The patch will be released when he's finished, not a moment sooner. Posting "release! release!" does not speed up the process contrary to popular belief.

You know what no one else should post in this thread....it seems as if suggestions, complaints, and the all to common "release, release" only seems to aggravate these guys and prolong the release...so to prevent any further annoyance and the over zealous, unecessary, "I'm running the show, so shut up type comebacks" from the developers, to stop.... Just respect their wishes and don't ask about it and don't post anymore. I am guilty of contributing to this madness, maybe not in a large capacity...but contributed all the same. The time is getting Closer EVERYONE, so do yourself a favor so you can just start playing when its released. Take your FAVORITE roster, save a copy of it in your NBA Live saves folder. So now you have TWO rosters of the same but different names of course(You Pick The Name) And take the Copy of the roster and go into your Players.dbf file and change the filters around so you can see NAME, FNAME and DUNKPACK and just start editing. Believe me it won't take long at all. Heres the List:

0-All Layups
1-All Layups for players such as Stephon Marbury, Tony Parker and Chris Paul
2-Allen Iverson (If you want the players like Marbury Parker and Paul Use DUNKPACK #2)
3-Basic Dunks And Layups, Nothing Fancy(Carmelo Anthony, Scottie Pippen are the special players)
4-Dwayne Wade
5-Kevin Garnett
6-Big Men Stuff (Shaq, Tim Duncan along with others)
7-Andre Iguodala, Josh Smith and Gerald Green

The Other Kevin, you don't HAVE to do anything. In order for the patch to work 100% the way it should be, and to prevent players from playing a style of ball unrealistically, I suggest editing every player's dunkpack the way likvc and myself have. However, what you choose to do is your decision and yours alone. When the aiact is released, so will the complete list that tells who should be what, etc. etc. What you do beyond that is completely on your shoulders.
