maybe, Bogut should go down a bit. he is not as good as Milwaukee expected him to be. And also M.Williams should be decreased. Atlanta picked him because of his future and he is way overrated at 75 of rating. His stamina and 3-point ability should be decreased for example.

hakeem olougon [forgive my spelling] should be added to the 80 all-stars

have you seen him play? Ive seen him play like 10 times already. When he does get to post up he has a nice set of moves and shoots with good %. He has really good passing abilities. Runs the floor well and does a great job on the boards. He always gets in good position. If he aint tapping it out for a reload he is tapping them back in for points. He also is a good defender, takes alot of charges that get called in favor of him.

its Olajuwon

Olajuwon will be added, I was waiting for glen's face patch before I created him. Thanks for the latest suggestions, as always I'll consider them and use whatever I can. (Y)

Bogut is good however he doesn't look as the best rookie of all. He does pass well for his height but he doesn't seem so fast and neither a good ft shooter so far. Also he does seem as quite a good rebounder and a strong player however half a block per game doesn't seem so impressive. Although that doesn't seem bad defense but a low blocking level. He is a good defender so his def. awareness should be around 70.

Wed Nov 30, 2005 3:59 am

for a 7 footer bogut is pretty fast. he gets up and down the floor well, not like a yao ming, more like a webber. He is pretty good dunker too. Ive seen him catch alley-oops and take it in for the jam. He doesnt try any weak stuff is what i mean. Yeah he doesnt block that much, that could be lowered, but he is still a good defender. I was going to say his 3pt rating is a little high since he hasnt ever taken a 3 yet. His longest shots are usually within 15-18 feet from what ive seen. Ive never seen him play in college so maybe he can hit an NBA 3, but so far it doesnt look like he has that range. Ive seen him open for a 3 a few times and he passes instead of chucking it up. So i figure his game is within 18 feet.

while we are on the bucks...

Tj fords steals should be higher....dude can really pick someones pocket, even when its one on one. I forget who it was but he was trying to defend someone on a one vs one fast break and he stole it from him.

Maurice Williams FG and 3 point shots should be in the 70-80's....he is shooting really well. Currently its only in the 50's!! Also think his speed should be in the 80's...he is pretty fast, even compared to TJ ford. His range should be 25 feet.

Tony Parker may deserve a Inside Scorer ability as he is not really a Playmaker IMO. Anyway, I don't often use Superstar moves, just for the defense, Duncan with his 1 handed shot and that's all.

Maybe that was Trenton Hassell, when MIL was playing the T'wolves. :?:

Wed Nov 30, 2005 6:35 am

actually i think it was wally szczerbiak. hassell had 0 turnovers that game.

Wed Nov 30, 2005 7:55 am

Boozer is 6-8 in the game, when his nba.com profile says 6-9.
Arenas is 6-3 in the game, when his nba.com profile says 6-4.

Wed Nov 30, 2005 10:09 am

T.Js fgs and three pointers should also be up quite a bit.Plus he should be a playmaker.

Wed Nov 30, 2005 1:41 pm

a few suggestions that i've noticed while playing some games in dynasty mode... most of these are from me watching the games, but other are just big contradictions i've seen to hoopshype.com player profiles or other evals of players:

dorell wright: he's really athletic... i believe he's in the 50s in speed  , which doesn't seem right for a fairly athletic center, not to mention a "freakishly athetlic" sg/sf, his speed should be around the low 70s, i've also seen him blow by people, so low 60s for his quickness is also probably a little low... he looks pretty lost on D, his awareness might actually need to be lowered into the 30s

jarvis hayes: the guy is a pretty fast, but 84 is rediculous... i'd say he's above average in speed for wings... maybe something in the mid 70s?

austin croshere: he's actually got a pretty quick first step, i'd say up to 58 or so

caron butler: he's been a very good scorer for washington, i think that a FG boost would be realistic

joey graham: many said he was the most athletic player in the draft... he's in the 60s in speed, quickness, and jumping... especially the jumping needs to be upped with some of the dunks he's been throwing down

i don't know if you adjust ratings if players may just be in a slump (or playing unusually well for that matter), but baron davis and mike dunleavy have both shot the ball horribly this year for the warriors, in other warriors news, it looks like murphy has finally worked on his inside scoring a little bit and that ike diogu can really score from the inside as well

dwight howard: he's been insane on the boards (even more this year than last) so his rebound ratings of 77/85 seem low... he also looks like he's got a much improved post game this season and has become the magic's top inside scorer

marvin williams: his 3pt shot is probably a bit overrated at 65, he can hit him but i think something in the high 50s may be more appropriate... on the other hand, i've read (and to some extent seen) that he can really get out and run on the break 65 may be a bit low for his speed, i think atleast high 60s would be in order

Wed Nov 30, 2005 11:24 pm

ARGHHH cant wait for the new version...wait like 2 weeks lol with delaying =/
i know it is hard work hehe but pls release as post in the sticky lol i cant wait anymore!

and the game is made too easy to play...and when i turn the sliders on shooting to 35 for all they still made jumpers with hands in their face and no matter how close i m i cant block their shots even with big man...

lol just my personal comment no aggression

Pretty much spot on.

Although, last night, he had 19pts and 14 or 15 boards and the one block he had was a game saving block of Jason Terry. Maybe this was his coming out party last night.

I would agree with the Mo Williams and TJ Ford analysis. Williams and Ford have really picked up their shooting games. Ford drained a few 3 pt's last night.

Thanks for the latest.

I delay for a reason, that being there's even more work to do with the rosters this year because of all the recalculations and whatnot, plus it's hard to find time these days. Hopefully I won't have to delay again but if I do, so be it because quite frankly, I'm fed up pushing myself when I'm already exhausted from work. If it comes to down to my personal life and the roster patch, I will not choose the roster patch. As I've said once or twice, my life does not revolve around it and I'm sorry if that upsets people, but I do not need any extra stress right now. I'll aim for the 4th but if I need to delay it a couple of days or whatever, I'm afraid that's what I'll do. If people want to get angry about that, then perhaps I'll decide not to do the patches at all.

Nothing against what you said Maxium, it's just that I do get a few messages and whatnot pushing for a new update, I'm not sure that a lot of people understand why I have to delay the releases especially now with my new job.

Thu Dec 01, 2005 1:06 pm

Hey Andrew... take your sweet time. You're doing all of us a favour here, so you take as long as you want. Don't let those people rushing you get to ya. I'm sure there's many people like me who appreciate the time you spend on the quality of work that you do!

Thu Dec 01, 2005 1:33 pm

Appreciate the kind words Cujosevic, believe me I've very appreciative of the support my rosters get. Unfortunately some folks aren't quite as understanding. Day off tomorrow, nothing much else to do, so I should be able to get some roster work in between the couple of errands and gaming I have planned. :)

Thu Dec 01, 2005 3:24 pm

just dont mind them andrew!...just take your time!...BTW!

Doug Christie has been waived
Dijon Thompson has been recalled to the Suns

Luol should have a boost in speed and Field Goal
Andres Nocioni's ball handling should be increased

Thats all!

Fri Dec 02, 2005 12:07 am

oh man i m only trying to say that i liked ur work and i had wait them long but i didnt say that i m blaming u to be delaying the realease of the new roster -.- ...

i dunno y but ppl tent to misunderstand what i said...

Baron Davis is shooting like shit. His shooting in general should be decreased. In ft he already shot 73 shoots and made 48 having .658. Moreover, he only scored 30 of 111 3-points so far for a .270 and is having .335 of fg.

Also, Jasikevicius stats should be increased. His fg and 3points are way better than 70 and 68 and 8,9 ppg ; 2 rpg ; 2,1 apg ; 1,14 spg are quite impressive numbers for a player that is only playing 18,9 mpg.

Moreover, some blocking stats are really off for some players. For example is crazy to see players like Skita having 80+ in that category. But he is not the only one, iguodala , biedrins are some other examples. Andris also has 82 on each rebounding category.

Another very overrated player is Travis Outlaw. For example, he has 61 in 3 pointer when he only shot 10 3-points last season and this season he tried 10 and missed all, lol. And he also has 60 in fg while he is not a very good shooter at all. Oh, and here again the 80+ blocking ability.

vladamir radmonovic is a little too slow in my opinion, and i think he needs to have a better shot rating, i mean he is definitely one of the premier shooters in the league, such amazing form. in the game he shoots really wierd, like how a big man would shoot and it always throws my off... why does his form look so wierd/how can you change it

You can change it by increasing his dribbling, and possibly quickness, I'm not entirely certain about quickness though.

Fri Dec 02, 2005 10:24 am

I'd temper my enthusiam jacking up Radmanovic's ratings...

from realgm.com:

Vladimir “My Bad” Radmanovic might be the most selfish player in the NBA. A 6’11 forward, he grabs fewer boards than such prolific rebounders as Chris Paul, Rafer Alston and the immortal Smush Parker, ranking 173rd in the NBA’s total rebounds. To compound that he throws up five 3-pt shots a game, accounting for over 60% of the shots he takes. On a team with Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, a seven-footer ought to be occupying space, attracting defenders and cleaning glass, not spotting up and waiting for a kick out. He’s a disgrace and should be buying Kwame Brown a polyanna. If it weren’t for the Guru bringing Kwame to La-La Land, Radmanovic might be the worst player in the Conference getting serious minutes.

Fri Dec 02, 2005 11:09 am

well bottom line, he is hella streaking when it comes to performance but all the skill is there, he has a really nice looking shot, and if he would be more aggressive going to the basket like reshard lewis then the sonics would have a lot more wins, but yeah he is a little whiny bitch

Appreciate the latest, noted.
