Did I see in the clip LeBron using the 2 steps?
Does anyone know if the 2 steps will be added in this year edition?

initial reaction is that this will be abused.

i saw Ray Allen pull up for a 3 and didnt get blocked....does ths mean that perimeter blocks are no more?

these new additions make the gameplay seem too much like the suns playbook (or lack thereof) with the fastbreak moves and everything =\

i hope not, since i like to play a slower half court game. 'the right way' as LB would put it :P

You couldn't execute a proper half court game in any NBA Live because the NBA Live series never had a good mid range jump shot. It was either post up or three point shot.
NBA Live 2003 is the best game ever made.

In Live 05, it had a good midrange jump shot because I could use it whenever I wanted.

i was playing live 2005 couple of days ago and I can not think of all the crazy passing they are incorporating to the new live to be coming out soon. hopefully this will not develop into a whole world of bugs.

That's a terrible lie; the shot works, sure, but it gets blocked 60% of the time...

I just hope that they allow for a true fastbreak this year to all the superstar freestyle thing to work. Live 05' sucked because guys would catch up to you on a fast break all the time.........very frustrating :x

2 steps is when you grab the ball and just take 2 steps.. as opposed to doing a jumpstop for example... ginobili takes 2 steps a lot.

Well that's true that it does get blocked, but usually when I do it, I use the iso mode to where I choose the player and move around myself to find the open spot, kinda like Rip Hamilton or I just get someone to set a pick for me and I shoot it.

Use it always, and whine that its abusing the game.why not..dont use it?so it wont abuse the game.it says u need to hold the trigger to execute the moves.so why not dont hold the trigger if u think its so abusing?just do a normal pass then

^^^that's an easy way of putting things. But in 03 you couldnt score w/o abusing the freestlye hop step, you'd just get your shot blocked.

CPU Freestyle Superstars

Postby ignatu on Sat Jun 25, 2005 10:00 am

IF this means CPU players on your team and others will also play to this level, it's a good thing.

NBA up to '05, the only player playing spectacular basketball is the human controlled player. If I play the Heat and am controlling Shaq, I expect Wade to be driving or dishing to me, not having to take control of Wade to drive and dish to Shaq then take control of Shaq for the dunk.
