NBA 06 for PS3??

It's pretty obvious NBA 06 will be released for XBOX 360, but I still don't know iif there is an PS3 NBA 06 release included in what is called "Next generation" or PS users will have to wait till the NBA 07 to play EA's basketball tittle.
XBOX 360 is not mentioned on EA Sportrs NBA 06 official homepage, but it's obvious it is included in the Next generation topic. Is PS3 included too??? Anybody knows something???

My understanding is that you'll have to wait for NBA Live 2007 on the PS3 but you can get NBA Live 2006 on the PS2

I saw two sites that had it listed for PS3 as well, but I really doubt that...

Ok here is my two cents.....
PS3 will not be released until fall 2006.......
so I don't think they will have NBA Live 06 for PS3 for the simple fact that it won't be out until 2007....I could be wrong but whatever.....you figure it out......why would EA still be working on the PS3 NBA Live 06 while they could just be working on 07......I mean I could be wrong but whatever..........still just think about it.......

I don't think a PS3 version has been confirmed, given the expected release of the PS3 I'd be very surprised if there was one.

Correction IT is NBA LIVE 06!

NBA 06 is developed by 989 sports which has a story mode and will be out this fall also.

Easy mistake to make though. In the early days of the series the titles were often abbreviated to NBA 95, NBA 96 and so on.
