well depends, alot of those things i would never use.... the ultimate basketball game in my mind is a game with no flaws , realistic perfect gameplay, and a sweet franchise mode and maybe a mode like they have on nba 06(though ive never played it), and then of course all of those create-A-etc modes....

agreed with volsey, I care not for all those modes that become irrelevant after a couple of weeks.

So long as realistic gameplay and player behaviour is a feature then yes, I'd say it would be the ultimate basketball sim. Though personally, I think a couple of those features (24/7, Unlockable Celebrities to name just a couple) are unnecessary and some of them certainly aren't feasible.

I dont even know why celebrities would be needed since they suck ass so bad. How fun would the game be when both teams shoot under 20%?

my perfect nba game would be gameplay first and foremost.
realistic tendencies for each player and teams.
a create a coach or pick a coach.
create a team is a must. not since nbalive99 have we had a create a team on live. the 2kseries did. and still live hasn't readded this feature.
but expand it to the ability to customise the jerseys and pick a stadium.
NO HIDDEN SLIDERS!!! let us gamers have the choice to cutomise the game the way we like it. we can edit the players so why cant we edit all the sliders? fire pro wrestling style!?
cutomisation is the must. the ability to play the game the way u want.

but most importantly. realistic cpu tendencies. live 06 on the 360 was awful for this reason. the game is fun when u have the ball, but when the cpu is on offense it becomes a run and gun unrealistic mess with no intelligence on how to utilise its players.

live 06 xbox has been the best i've played.

Every player in NBA ever? Thats impossible cause there are atleast 30000 players to play in the NBA. Plus 10000 of them didnt even play a full season even. It would be cool if you could sign legends though

I think Fifa 2006's Manager Mode is unrivaled, it is very complex, the mood of your team is affected, you have to pick your sponsors and upgrades to your coaching and stadium. You decide how to answer questions presented to you that range from "A fan club has hosted a charity event and asked for your players to attend, who should we send?"
to things like "how should we deal with this issue..."

You decide how the mood of your team changes or how your fan base changes as you do things that make the fans like you, such as hosting events where players show...

You have the reserves mood and the stars mood.

There is nothing like it yet, i'm sure it could be adapted to NBA life. You could host a summer league camp and such, decide what happens with your D-League team, decide which players must be waived, etc. Pick if you need to move cities, if your player's contract must be renegotiated, or if your lease deal for the stadium must be renegotiated, etc.

There is so much out there to be added that could make NBA live so fantastic.

In Fifa, so many leagues are included, they have the MLS, the mexican and brazilian leagues, European leagues for every country, and then the division 2 leagues for all those countries, then all the international teams. I'm sure D-league teams and summer league teams could be added, and most of the D-League or Summer League teams could be created players that may someday move to your team.

Anyway, there is a lot out there and it'd be fun to see that happen.

I really couldnt give a shit about most of that stuff, the most important thing to me is a game that isnt frustrating to play because of its gameplay flaws, and NBA live 06 dissapoints there.

It also needs a good dynasty mode, and the 1-player following mode thing would be cool too

I wouldn't care if the graphics were 3d and you had 0 customization features IF the game was realistic enough. Live needs to forget about the Bells and Whistles and start concentrating on fundamentals again. Although I know they'll think of just another gimmick that does nothing but bling up the gameplay.

No coment about fifa lol (pes power)... its like live 06 and 2k6 lol
ea should test their game before selling it , the graphic isn't important if the gameplay is very cool , we can notice that live is filled with bugs (collision , players stuck on an another player , rebounds etc ... )they should and must revise this aspect of the game ...I don't know why but I feel that live 07 will be the copy of live06 on 360...

EA makes FIFA so they wouldnt worry about having to copy things.... They should just use the great management features in Live that they use for FIFA.

3.commentate on stuffs that is done during dynasty eg.u scored 40 points for 2 consecutive games..during the third game the commentator will say 'he score 40+ points for 2 consecutive nights..how much do u think he will score today?'

Well they could put in a slider option that asks "how much of a loser the user is for messing with cyber chicks body parts" with the slider going from 0% - 100%.
