Hilarious Comments

Hi guys,

ever thought that some of the comments of Marv Albert and Steve Kerr were just hilarious under certain circumstances?

I am right now playing a game with the Hornets vs. the Magic. First quarter, 1:25 to go. Steve Francis is out with two fouls already. Jameer Nelson, his backup just committed his 3rd foul on David West. Here is Steve Kerr's comment on the situation:

"That was a good foul Marv, given that he is such a poor free throw shooter."

David West sank the first shot .

Sometimes I think the comment script goes a little crazy ... .

Uh ... not a comment, but a ridicoulus move by the CPU. The last seconds of the first quarter are counting down to 0.4 seconds. David West ist way beyond the 3pt line and goes up for the last shot ... what does Dwight Howard do? Right ... he fouls him and West is going to the line for 3 shots - of which he unfortunately hits none.

I think we still have long ways to go to real artificial intelligence .

I had this game where i was leading 34-31 in the 2nd quarter, after the Nets scored the next basket, Kerr said "That was a good basket but i think it's a little too late." WTF

i was up by 11 at the end of the 3rd, and then in the begginning of the 4th i scored 2 more points, so i was up by 13, then boston scored 2 and then kerr said something like " boston has come out on fire and has cut the deficit to 11", when they were down by 11 at the end of the third too?

I like Steve, when Marv says something, and then he replys, he starts to giggling like a little child. That's probably the only good thing about them.

I like the one where Steve Kerr sais something like "he's so good at getting to the basket, it reminds me of me when I was playing" or something similar.

That gets friggin annoying after a while......

Common symptom of commentary in video games, always good for a chuckle. Personally, I find it more frustrating when a poor free throw shooter on the CPU team goes to the line, they mention how bad he is from the line and he makes both time after time.

They jinx it or something because Shaq always seems to be a 80%-90% free throw shooter against me... WTF mate...

Commentators saying a player is a poor freethrow shooter doesn't mean he can't sink a ft shot.

i rekon the best things to listen for are the subtle croud comments. Theyre really funny, but i cant remember any... so listen yourself

I HATE STEVE KERR, I loved the bulls back when MJ played and steve was ok then. Now that I have played this game I HATE HIM.

You could be winning 100 to 0 on a 100 point streach 100% from the floor actidently miss a shot and Kerr would say something Negative about the shot weather it be me taking a bad shot or I shouldn't shoot with a defender on me. Even though it was a good shot and the defender is 3 yards away.

Then in the same situation if a guy slipps by to the lane and hits a 5 footer he will say "Thats poor rotation someone needs to slide thier feet.

Well almost every reply he does to Marv's comments weather marv is good or bad Kerr is almost always giving a negative comment.

Its the most annoyin thing I ever heard and if anyone knows a way for it to just be Marv please tell me.

Next time you play listen to the negativity. There are also a Ton of other things he says that are off the wall and annoying also but I try to forget what all he goes on about.

the gameplay is like it hasnt even been tested prior to release, and you expect the commentators to be able to take into account of the entire game to say their bs?

when you make the shot on a fast break:

"sure, he makes the shot, but in my team, hes playing in the developemental league tomorow marve"

yet when you miss, hes quiet

But that wasn't the point. Steve Kerr praised the foul by Nelson, although it was his 3rd foul, with Francis having 2 already and the first quarter wasn't even over yet ...

I lost the game by eight, with Steve Francis lightin' me up for 42 points. I just couldn't stop them in the fourth and nobody of my team seemed to be able to hit a shot ...

i hate the line 'sometimes basketball is just about puting the ball in the hoop'. i mean if it isn't then what have i been playing all this time

I hate Kerr's comments, he's never satisfied or shit. I'm down by 5 with 50 seconds left, fastbreak opportunity I pull up with Korver for a 3 that went in. Kerr says that it's a bad shot and could've went for a layup... lol
Then when Dalembert got like 2 rebounds and 2 minutes just passed, Kerr says he's cleaning the glass whole night or sth like that... Hahaha
And lots more... He's always disagreeing and shit...

You've got to also love when you start off the game by hitting a 3 and they say, "You know, they've left these guys open out there all night, and now they're paying for it."

And when Kerr says that the shooter is a bad free throw shooter... it's definately a JINX! They never miss
