Yea Im allset jxuusa told me.

Know what sux, I dont have a Videocard :( So I need to ask someone is this one ok:

If not please send me a link to any cheap but good ones

The Requirements say I need a Video Card with 32mb or more, And one of these Chipsets:

ATI Radeon 7500 or Greater
NVIDIA GeForce2 or Greater

So the one I linked is good right? Its 128mb, and its 9000, where as the minimum is 7500.

If you can look for a ATI Pro or XT instead of an ATI SE version. Also if its Nvidia instead of ATI look for a Geforce Ti or Ultra card instead of a Geforce MX.

Even if you gotta choose a lower number the card will be better. Like a 8900 Pro would be better then a 9000 se.

The SE and MX are usually made more for low end pc's but they will play the game.

Its just the others play it more smooth and better graphix usually.

P.S. If you want to post youre options on what you can buy I will help you on what would be best. I own a PC buisness so I go through alot of comparing of parts.

hm from that screenshot u sent me, do u have lighting? cause if you dont, i could try sending my settings.dat to u and see if it will turn it on or not

Tue Dec 06, 2005 1:30 pm

ShAuN, I hope you do not pay $64 for that card. As a gamer, I believe you should be able to get a better videocard for $4 dollars more. Please go to this link http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814102320. Its a Sapphire Ati 9600, $68, a whopping 256 mb of video ram. It'll be $8 more because of shipping. If you don't have a credit card, find someone who does and give them the cash. You will get jipped at Wal-Mart. The 9600 should allow you to max out your video settings in live.

Pdub, the lower that number is the better the graphics are...I guess

Tue Dec 06, 2005 3:03 pm

The lower what number? 9600-9200se? No that is wrong. 9200se<9600<9800<x800<x1800

Take my advice, man, trust me. I have an ATI RADEON x800 xt platinum edition.

Tue Dec 06, 2005 3:07 pm

well i got him to push his gfx to the limit, but still no lighting blah too bad, shaun just get a new gfx card and listen to mr. pdub here

Tue Dec 06, 2005 4:00 pm

aright pdub, what one do u suggest i get?

Tue Dec 06, 2005 5:02 pm

Pdub:

Hey what about this one: Click

How do I know it will work and stuff??

And if so send me a link to the Best Cheapest one

Tue Dec 06, 2005 5:25 pm

If you have to choose between the 9600 and the 9200 get the 9600. If you like more graphic intensive games(i.e. F.E.A.R., Battlefield 2, Half-Life 2) and are willing to spend more money get an ati radeon x800 or a nvidia geforce 6800.

Edit: if you were gonna spend $60 on 9200, why not $75 on a 9600? Its a huge step over the 9200.

Tue Dec 06, 2005 5:29 pm

i have a feeling i'll be seeing ShAuN in my section alot

Tue Dec 06, 2005 5:36 pm

I don't care what you say. I know for a fact the lower Pro's and XT's are better then the higher number SE's.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT get an SE...

"Shit Edition"

I have tested many cards and wrote reviews.

I don't care if you have x850 them are old compared to what is out now for top dollar.

I know for a fact a 9600 XT or Pro run games better then some shitty 9800SE. They make them cards out of crap. Sell them to people who got no idea bout it. People that think only about the number.

Also if the card has 512MB of ram and the same card is cheaper with 256MB of ram. The 256MB is just as good for playing games.

The extra MB's Ram is only good for Graphix design and video editing a few other things you probably will not be doing.

Wed Dec 07, 2005 1:53 am

^^^Absolutely right. And I am a little pissed because I only bought my x800 almost a year ago, and the newer cards are blowing it away.

trecenters is 100% on point accurate with his assessment.
