Question for Live 06 on PC

Mon Dec 05, 2005 2:20 pm

If I put in say the TNT Scoreboard that someone made, or a Face patch of Wade, or whoever. Or an Intro screen or anything, do I need to download anything for Live 06? Or can I just put it in there? And also, say if I finished a season in my dynasty mode and I want to put real rookies in there, do I need anything to do that? If so please send me the link.

You just download the patch, and put it in the appropriate folder, as far as scoreboard, cyberfaces, etc. go. Not sure about your dynasty question.

to put the patches in you have download them, open the archive or w/e then place it in the sgsm folder which can be fold in the NBA Live 06 folder in Program files.

I downloaded a Wade Cyberface. It seems confusing. This is what was in the foler:

dwwade_.fsh

Another dwwade_.fsh

and a Read Me!

When I accually get Live 06 do I just put it in the sgsm folder? Thanks for the help....BTW do I have to delete an old Wade, and do I do this with everything I download for the game, like a court and everything???

Usually a Read Me will tell you what to do.

Simple patches that just contain .fsh files will require you just to copy+paste them into the sgsm folder.

What about .big?

Mon Dec 05, 2005 4:20 pm

Same with the .big files.

But with .viv files, they have to go in a specific folder in the sgsm folder (for example, jerseys that are in .viv go in the uniforms folder)

Just consult the Read Me for .viv and other files other than .big and .fsh and .ebo

To answer your other question, no, you won't have to delete Wade's old face, etc. You just put the .fsh, .big, .ebo or whatever (other than .viv, .dbf, and a few others; the readme.txt file generally tells you what to do), into your SGSM folder, and viola, you're good to go. It's that simple. I've only been doing it a few weeks, so I understand how confusing it seems at first. It's real sweet, though.
