Screen Blacks Out!!

Whenever I load NBA Live 06, my screen blacks out. There is not much else to describe because it happens right when the game gets to the main screen and I cannot get any farther. Can anyone suggest anything to help me with this problem?

AMD Athlon 64-Bit 3000+ XP
nVidia GeForce 6200 OC
2.01 GHz
512mb RAM

what drivers are you using? try the latest ones from nvidia.com

Yeah try the newest nvidia driver, or reinstall the game. maybe the game u using is scaffolding in some way.
